We love Netbooks even though we know they aren't in vogue anymore, we love their portability and their price. So naturally the original Dell Duo has been something that we have been keen on since we first saw it, and we said back then that this was a good first attempt, but we'd wait for the next generation before we opened our wallets.

At IFA today, Dell announced the XPS Duo 12 which is an evolution in every way from its predecessor. The materials have improved so that the unit can be thinner, the 12.5" chassis is made of carbon fiber and it's surrounded by a brushed aluminum band which serves to house the swiveling screen. The display is HD with edge to edge glass which looks rich and vivid. There wasn't much else to be said other then it will have processors up to Core i7.
