Croatian automaker Rimac Automobili has started taking orders for its Concept One, which it calls the world's first electric-powered supercar. The Concept One joins a select group of cars outputting in excess of 1000hp - in this instance, 1088hp to be exact with a whopping 2,800 pound-feet of torque also on tap.
Before you get too excited it's roughly 1M Dollars but there should less than 100 of them on the market.
Importantly, while the EV supercar can accelerate from 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 190mph, it also has a range of up to 372 miles. The impressive range is courtesy of a 92kWh liquid-cooled battery, although it won't reach its maximum mileage if incessantly thrashed.
