Rich Harrington from Rhed Pixel joins Bert Monroy this week at Photoshop World in Las Vegas to show you how to do motion control in After Effects!

Learn Motion Control in After Effects

Rich uses some movie clips made of old historical photos turned into 3D scenes, similar to a diorama. The moving footage was made with Photoshop and After Effects together. After Effects is a great tool for telling stories.

Start by cutting out your graphics in Photoshop, then layering. There are cloning effects done to fill in the holes of the cut objects. Import the layered PSD file into After Effects, and follow the video to learn how to turn your flat images into 3D! You will learn about Camera Settings and positioning along the X, Y, and Z axis.
