Learn to create fern leaves by using custom brushes and adjusting brush settings along paths.

Set brush settings and color for fern leaves

Increase rush spacing so that you can see the separation of the two brush shapes. In Shape Dynamics, play with the Angle Jitter and size Jitter to your desired effect. You can also increase the Saturation and Brightness for more color variation. With your color picker, you can define two different greens for the foreground and background. As you draw, the images will look duo-toned and will resemble a real fern.
