I got a phone call reason live guy as we out of phone hacking into a parquet floor. Well I've done shows on creating would. But I am gonna do what a little differently today. And would you date. One filtered usually do lay out a couple of filters and I do noise and motion blur and then liquefied agreed to little knots is. But this parquet floor which means that -- little thin strips so we don't need to have all kinds of pearls and stuff want to keep it would. Fairly simple here so I might do. Is I'm gonna turn on my grid. -- migrate to start this off because a parquet floor is pretty symmetrical. They're pretty straight shapes there so I'm gonna go in here and to my foreground color. I'm gonna pick a nice kind of like -- caller about like that that looks good. And from my background color are africanized deep brown collar but like that. So it out that's where I'm going to create my basic. What -- so I'm gonna go in here and I'm gonna say. Read on here under render I have an open call fibers and fibers."

" Allowed me to go in here and create this new texture based on those who cause you can see that pretty much have what are ready to -- with the strains. Increases strength a little bit bring down a variance to get different kind of text is having that's looking pretty good right there bringing down a variance. Bring up the strength to go okay and I got this nice kind of they wouldn't texture right off the bat. So now I don't. Really seem like we did really well some -- going to change the color for my grid so that I can see it on top of this thing a lot better. I did my -- grades so let's say what red is gonna look bright red is pretty visible back there. Maybe the green and we better green is really easy to see -- goes would right. So let's go with the green click okay and there we have are what so now I'm going to do it on a select from different parts. I -- blue jump from right here. I'm selecting war. Panels and format am -- gonna say give me a new layer via copy. Right now I'm gonna go over here and does select four right there go back to my background layer and say."

" You -- via copy. And I got to live for slats of wood now I think the background here. And I might want to go dared darken a little bit so I'm just gonna go to my levels and a dark in my mid tones a little just to get a little dark and you can see how it's darker than the original sat there. Click okay and now I'm gonna select say this piece right here. For. And say you later. The copy. And then finally just like to start one right down here it's okay in the background. You later. Via -- and I'm gonna return might cause the black market analyst did the background and just go ahead of the that was quite sad to see my four little slats there. Some and take my job or select. Moved to a I'm gonna take these guys remove them and the positions that a date line up. With the others. -- that they are right there now you visit to grange don't match so that's really good that way that I've seen a whole different kind of effect and I want to take this up. That's like about like that so have a nice little effect happening there now we might want to add some my little. Analysis. So in a new later. I got black I'm gonna get my paintbrush. And I really nice hard -- brush. That's a little tiny it is go with a nine that's a little too big so the with a five that's a good size right there let's make sure that the shape dynamics is turned off and that does not going to head right there I'm gonna click -- right there and there and there. And I see them set the cognitive. And things remember everything so let's go back to original settings and it -- and -- mail mail. Now. Putting -- on the on the grid and not to be perfectly on the grid. I could be awful little bit 'cause these are done by hand right. Right below it right in there like that that I can think both of these layers -- bring them up so we can see them both right in there so now. And I think this guy and duplicate him. Just this guy one guy duplicate him right over here and want to -- going to do a little flip on. I'd go for pars on the line. Just so that the area have a different look to them that I think this guy propping him up in here. And -- doing little up foot vertical on him -- which is going there and say. The vertical. So now we can turn off -- grid we don't need to see a grid. I'm gonna go and -- select this whole bunch all of them -- like that turn off the grid. It's 200 right there and though we might wanna shrink this down. So we're going there and shrink the whole thing down this is going to say scaled down. Hold down my shift key to constrain and make sure we got all of and select their."

" all four. Communique analysts scale them. Hold down my shift keys that they constrained. Right there like that. Make that happen. And now. I'm gonna go and I select them."

There's a -- these clouds. Black and green. I'm gonna go there and give that another filter I'm gonna give it -- yet render. Difference clouds on top of that which I'm gonna apply a few times and hitting command death. To pride left filter a few times Astaro to get these really bizarre kind of little -- things going on that keep appliance like -- one that I really like. But like that that's certainly one more time. Yeah that's really good I might want to go in there and it's just like this up just a little bit those mid tones. We get some nice additional tones happening in there to -- it is my marble. Okay that looks good. So not want to duplicate that layer."

" I duplicated this wanna I wanna do a little rotation on it let's go in there and say we do a one radeon it. And to a Doolittle. Let's do a little flip horizontal so it's very different from the one below okay. This one here I'm gonna go into hue saturation since they've -- saturation. And lighten up a little bit. This is a light colored marble so we have that marvel and a small beautiful marbles. The one on top here when I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go in there and give it a mask. There's a mask I gave it a mask so. Is that mask I'm gonna go ahead and fill. I'm gonna fill it with that pattern we created that pattern remember that pattern. Click okay and now we see that the green marble is not showing through. How little black marble bit so now we've got the marble floors that would go ahead and merged is down. So now. This is the floor I want to go and and distort this into perspective to turn it into an actual floor. The usual methods don't quite work she got these nice little squares that look pretty good. All right let's go in there and that district is there and say we do it prospective. -- perspective is going to. Do this well look at those squares. Doesn't quite look right right that'd be long rectangles this trying to distort. It's gonna say. Distort. So gonna grab this corner and drag it down we dragged his corner and drag it down. And again. This sure doesn't look like that one. These kind of square that on -- pretty square these became these long. Rectangles again neither of these really work why because. Where you're distorting pixels and it's not really a three dimensional space. And here's the key. Three dimensional space Photoshop does have 3-D. I've taken that later. And turning into a 380 postcard. New three postcard from there this would apply also that I wouldn't that to -- away at the same thing I'm gonna go and SA new -- postcard from there. And -- It is now 83 postcard now we're not seeing anything yet. But once I start to move it I'll get my little tool here and start to move this so that I move it so that it is in fact on the floor. And we could see that now this is still the square and that."

" That's the script to smaller. And little tighter going back in and in space and going there are just moved to stop this for like this and may be told that a little more. Bring about -- more. And it exhibit we have this floor. That retains its actual. The mentions it retains big the shape of the squares up and put them into the third dimension giving us a real floor. It is my spotlight which had to think that light and has to say we move that night we overhear. And we rotate that night. Towards us like that and I wouldn't these super light and more analysis and it's as little. Spotlight on off -- coming off from somewhere and it creates that look and we could see that. Oldest squares still look like screeners except there in dimension. So remember it's just a question of what you -- to -- but if there's some kind of way -- like checkerboard patterns are kids grids for those kind of surreal looking scenes such. Again if you're creating a flat mental -- to back it just doesn't work. Would normal tools unless you turn into an actual 3-D object at which time when you tilt it back it will be going into the third dimension.
