This week, Bert shows off his new Wacom Cintiq tablet and learn how to create a photo realistic ice cream bar.
When it comes to creating beautiful photoshop work, Bert relies heavily on his Wacom Cintiq 21UX. The 21UX is near perfect... although not mobile. Not to fret. This week, Bert shows off the newly introduced Cintiq counterpart, a mobile version called the Cintiq 12WX (retails at $999).
It's almost spring and Bert's been craving a delicious ice cream bar. Learn how to create a ice cream bar from scratch. Simply by using the Fibers and the Bas Relief filters, you too can create a nearly realistic ice cream bar. Essentially, these filters will add texture to your delicious design. Today's photoshop tutorial will melt in your mouth.

I have to agree with a few posters here. Bert is awesome with his tutorials and his ability to teach and demonstrate what he is doing can captivate all my attention and keep me focused all by itself. As a result I find that background music playing very very annoying and see no point in having it. Not to much of a big fan of those long shots either but the rest.. is just plain awesome he is definitely a photoshop superstar

Yeah but Kelly costs and is expensive where R3 does not. Prefer R3 myself.
Bert is also on Lynda.com and they are expensive also. Yaa R3!

This is my first time watching the show. I was directed to it from an adobe forum where I posted a question about going to Philly to attend one of Bert's classes on April 18th.
I signed up for the podcast now and am excited to see future shows, as long as they kill the porno flick music and get rid of the bubbles that are so obvious.

I managed to do this one as well, but was much harder to follow than the eye because of the bad camera shots.

To the pixel perfect team and Bert, thanks for this great show! It has been really helpful and inspiring. I agree with the background music, remove that. Go back to the old concept and it would be better.

The new production is just awful.
The snappy theme music has been replaced by what sounds like some 3 year old pressing random buttons on an 80s synth. The same 3 year old seems to have drawn the new background too.
The background music throughout the whole show is annoying and distracting - as are the lower thirds. And I'm not sure quite what it is, but the picture quality sucks - I think it's poor lighting.
I'm not sure I can stand to watch another PP like that.

"Yes, the old intro music was WAY better.
"Me either. That was annoying.
Bart: "Now, I'm going to create a stick"
*TEXT - BART IS GOING TO CREATE A STICK!*
I mean seriously, do we really need that?
Also, add another vote to get rid of the background porno music.
Oh, and the old background was MUCH nicer. This one looks terrible and very fake.

Well it looked nice and everything, but really it wouldn´t matter if the would involve a lot special effects etc
We all wath the show because of Berts great skills in photoshop/Illustrator.
I find the background music VERY ANNOYING.
It made it hard to just listen to what Bert had to say, so please for the next show SKIPP the music.
