" I welcome back to pixel perfect would be very on the show where I show you despite anything that comes up. I don't want to thank my sponsor. Mobile media these guys put on great shows all over the world. They have and design conference any creative suite conference of that the conference. And in fact going to have to promises that one coming out February 26 march 1 you have the pixel conference and the back the conference in one. And oblivion that. No idea that that particular conference in -- who was here last week he's going to be there showing illustrated start a bunch of other people to be shown things and Colin all the people you've known for years -- be at this conference showing you really cool stuff. And dubbed it aesthetic going to be in Miami go to their web site right there -- mobile -- dash media that com. And if you put in the code. -- one that you're seeing right here on the screen now. You get a hundred dollars off. 100 dollars off. They might wanted to put little -- point in there but it is a hundred dollars off. On your missions so go ahead and spent some money and come down Miami is -- stop and say hi and learn a bunch of stuff from the best people in the industry. Okay -- show you something it was budget request for a glass. As bottles and glass there's Atlantic -- create a little CPU right now the glass -- with a little nail polish. How many many years ago and added -- New York I had a cosmetic company I used to do a lot of these kind of things for. All these illustrations on the door for you here that is a lot involved in this. Now as I've said many times before it is these techniques involved not the end result but how I got there a slight modifications here and there. Produce a totally different effect so there's going to be a lot of steps that I cover studied him closely because somewhere and there's a -- does some problem you've been faced with."
" Right so and I got a blank screen right here and -- start off in a layer. And -- nasal circle here right here like. So. I would think that circle and dove right off the bat. I'm going back a little bigger to area thanks big circle like or and its like that. I'm going to go ahead and save that as soon as a -- but my path here turn into path. Writes about the path. So now. And limited color -- that's kind of light gray color like that and I mean that there yes I am -- let go ahead and fill that shape right turn off my path so -- doing now. As I'm going to go back to my layers here I'm going to take that shape. They especially when selected on a drag it down. Straight down below like that I'm holding down my option command shift key which would be. So they've made a copy of the object as and I dragged down to be good shift -- and it went straight down between it to. -- now I'm doing is I'm going to go on here and create a little rectangle. Rate between both photos and fill that with that thing great. It and now we have the basic shape for the bottle itself. And right so now. I'm gonna go in here and go to my new path -- a little path on the top and a willingness scale that path. You're gonna skeletons are skillfully assembled and hold down my option key and bring it down just a little bit like that hello my shift key to constrain it. And bring down to about like that. That happened and in a new layer -- create a new layer is going to be the actual nail polish and side. So let's get some. Colleen it's it is nice bright red light that goes back all right fair and going to go ahead and and that there. Will fill that path. There it is so now. I'm going to take the path and it's going to drag it would just take the path itself. Pay here and drag it stray down. Right to about. He -- is that -- at the bottom. When a topic and throw away and in a layer behind the currently selected mail which is where you created that red -- Hold down my command key and create new layer which automatically created behind the currently selected -- I'm gonna go ahead and build that. Path with -- much deeper reds couldn't bright red like that and they'll -- my path and draw box does that before connecting these. In there like that and I'm a little off on the side no probably can move over later -- let go ahead at full that would that bright red. Now going to take that little bear. -- just moved over to the left a little bit. There is now it's directly underneath. Now what they should to have some. Some kind of tone to it because there is. -- which -- to my bottle right want to create that sense of curvature and everything you doin' in Photoshop. That's three dimensional as an illusion that you create in the two. So it -- the transparency for that. And I got that read that's too bad background and it's get a deeper version of that read write about there. And in that space like going to throw gradient thing in my gradient tool and I'm gonna choose my foreground background rate there. And -- gradient right through him like death and I got that darker."
" Edge on that side right. Gates and now. Right here it is just that little part where that liquid is just going over -- side so let slip that layer and we might want to drop I'm gonna go in there and -- a little larger brush I'm just gonna soften up that part right there in just learning that little edge right inside there. Okay we have David at knife curvature too good now but back part back and stay sharp because that's right against the glass but this front part we're seeing that they would kind of move around. So it softened it up to make it look like it's -- nice soft edge to a liquid. So now the glass itself needs some effects here. Someone over here and I got my glass. It's a top of the glass there's this this. Guy here let's just bring it back up on -- does take our our little path. Bring it back on top. And going that enlarge that path just a little not completely to his side and and going to and the largest since the middle. On the Centre out. And about I -- that's good. And move over to us in there with about Baghdad and then there. -- a layer on top of the great glass and go ahead and fill that with a lighter -- this but I like Graham just go go and fill that path right. Now -- got his lighter edge -- a problem my glass. Now. If you look at class and you look at there's all kinds of shapes and stuff when I -- in my opinion -- to run to all these -- but with soda. And one may look like less of a lot of tones going on in there. A tremendous amount of tones Qaeda figure -- those phones look. Observe look at it glass book -- look at it against the window or light light from behind a whatever and study all the shapes in there. I don't shapes -- really bizarre little shapes which make it really easy to recreate them because effective as though. Been -- there's no no perfect little unicorn horn in error anything now it's just a bunch of really bizarre looking shapes you gotta be very free hand with this. So what I want to do that and go back over here -- to might. My little glass shape the basic shape a little lack of transparency and then pick up some dark race. And we might brush tool with -- make much smaller here. I can start drawing some tones and there and again in there and just draw little darkness in there and maybe it'll darkness down here and so on its. The bush even smaller and make. Talk a lot darker almost -- black here and that's just kind of draw some little shapes here than -- back up for the brush and I just want coupled shapes there. A couple of little weird little little curve down here in a couple things become much smaller and that is gonna draw a couple little. Kurds going here like that. Who breaks to the -- Wii is little tones and there there were messing around with the -- it. That's been and the capacity a little bit and throw a couple of additional hones right in here thanks so at a time those together. And bring this up and we'll get all these weird little affects happening and there myself. -- of pick up a very light -- Very like -- and we'll throw a couple of highlights here and there. Again which is kind of very loosely throwing all these little shapes in there and if we want we can be heard. This Cisco and it would want to drop and soften up some of those not so strong in all these really reflections not glass. Now that red is going to be picked up on the bottom. I'm gonna pick up that -- that we had there been with a couple of darker version of it right here would get a paintbrush. I'll pick -- this darker tone. And I'm -- very enlightening very lightly along the edge down here. Throw in a little bit of that red edge rating there has been reflected on the bottom of -- bottle. Just like that. -- we have all these things happening. I'm gonna go here and place something. I'm gonna place. What I'm gonna place is this right -- I got this little illustrator file of the label which and a thick plates. In the coming here. And there it is. And it's -- away and back. That's make it happen and bring in front. But in front of everything there is how little label which -- pull down and center right on our little while here on the go ahead and invert this. So now it's like he got this little white label there and we're willing to do is I'm going to -- of the war. Go into our war command. And pull up this little handle up this way and that's when that way. So basically find the curvature. Of our bottle and don't play with the little -- here it's been this guy down system that'll bring these down. We gave that same curvature that would seem in the bomb a site that. Make that happen now. That name is Suk -- on the glass and this in space we get serious and space between it and the nail polish underneath it which he's gonna cast a shadow. So we'll go ahead and give that later. Of them drop shadow right there now -- going to be coming up from the upper right so going to go there and increase the distance a little bit. And put that light coming from that side like that bring Downey passive and that's that's not so strong. Click okay there it is now. That curvature that curvature is gonna make things look a little differently because it affected that. Last -- polish is inside that blasted the courage is going to be slightly different and again these -- things you notice by observing looking at reality how things work. So I'm going to separate that drop shadow from the layers and come over here on layer style and say create -- layer. Tyson now that I have that drop shadow I can take that drop shadow and give that its own little war. And which I'm just gonna bring this bottom part up just a little bit like that. -- had on this site only. And the -- apart move it up make that happen -- now we see that those shadows curving around the side of the bottle. Not a final thing we need is a cap we need a cap on this thing so. I've still got my packet of somebody at my new -- on the go ahead and think that path as scale it down quite a bit. When the center will scale it down to about like that."
" Make that happen. Okay we're gonna go in there and that's got a nice color let's say we used its. Like great here. And layer for a cap -- go ahead and fill that. I'm gonna take that path and move the path up to the top here. Strayed up like that and up there I'm gonna fill the path. In another -- that path with that same time tell now that they are behind it where the actual body of little -- is we'll go ahead and do a little. Rectangle between those two. Like so. And that's turn -- past. And actually in their right there will go ahead and -- that would that tell which I'm now going to. Block the transparency and give that a little bit of a gradient just like we did in the ball. So go in there and gemstone blue gradient right through here. And just think that we have -- tongue going on there. I just that we did before Obama going there and erase. Or rather soften. That part of Bob. Now you guys might have noticed that the girls know there. That you really need something to hold that little topic U handles that all we need a little -- there from the cradle to rid. So much has created those lips right here. Penniless and cut into that space. And there and make sure there's -- credit that -- gonna move to select the part all the way up to the -- like that. And in the cap. -- And I've got that little -- move this over to this side right in there and believe that Abu -- And we have to create that look of the red and create new. Shape right -- to like this. Right down. Right through the -- like that. And end if -- which we still have the up transparency Locke and and go in and throw a little with my. Dodge and burn and Randall -- and just turned aside a little bit because this is a shadow. -- that and do a little dodging on the other side. -- should be a little lighter -- picking up that time he goes to now we've got this little bottle here what's left. Highlights because the white is coming on things so right here I'm gonna get real close real close to radio and creative path. It goes this way. Thank -- And we need that to be a actual path and shape layers Cisco and you create their own right there. Create another path coming in this direction because I am going to stroked his path. And stroke it in direction which path was created so now with white. Middle paintbrush. Release small brush and then go here and if there's a little sparkle. I'm going to my brush engine. And Russian analysts say other dynamics. Hey the capacity and that's a I think 35 or 45 steps and tested to see how good that that's pretty good good night. Bring me back to back up to a 100%. And and the told I think that happens say. Stroke there's my little. Highlight right there. You can turn off the path now and with a much larger brush from and going to air and just give a little touch right there a little hit right there for that extra light. Now. Let's go over it to this edge here and right here on the -- little highlight. So I make from in that layer layer of the cap and I just want to highlight right through here so I bet. Thing thing here but bottle. And fun and -- Do this to get there click on that income straight down here and I get this little highlight comes straight down. For now the -- not look good so -- do -- I'm going to file touch maternal my background analysts say -- visible. Emerged all of these guys into one single layer which I can now take that layer and say give it a drop shadow. Given drop shadow just like that click okay and I'm when distort the shadows on going to separate the shadow. On the shape. And then I had that shadow which I can now let's pull back a little bits you can see it happen I'm gonna take that shadow and distorted. -- down here. And this over here to say that. I think the straighter. It return bring down B capacity a little bit and they we see we have this nice little cosmetic bottle. It is. Sitting on a page for. I remember it with a lot of steps in there are whole lot of steps going on things that you should just look at Florida value. Few changes here and there you could have a totally different effect for something else. If there's something else you'd like to see something and I sure how to do so many emails sent to Bert and revision3.com. And the mere request that I would like to see and won't boot if you on the show. Popular or something -- tune -- next week and we'll do some more."
