Because a little deviation here to change color there and so on so what. You create things that you might need to create so pay attention to the steps at the end result but how I got there. Alright so. And create up. By the volcano so broke the bad I'm gonna go ahead and invert the background make it black as a kind of a dark night sky. Too dark for you won't tell you what that this is going it put a background color we'll throw in little up. Do get some nice deep -- like this and up the background that will create this gradient. -- That little better I'm glad that size and -- another layer here and is where we're going to start to create our volcano. So now the setup and do -- pick a have a brown color. But like that -- good I got those to cause -- we're gonna feel that new layer. Which we'll call the volcano there quote role canto. We know where we are gonna go ahead and -- that would that color. So I did that got a quick that use the keyboard is hit command delete which would be control. -- based on PC to Philip with the background color as Bernard brown my background color and have component there I give it -- filter. The first OW -- gonna give me might basic texture now it needs to have something in that they which is why it wouldn't headed for the with a brown. It needs to have something without it it'll say. The layers empty doesn't work so I'm gonna say render. -- Fire is gonna give me these nice long kind of streets here where I can go in here and more variety to them and click it was put that there is up of the war. Click okay I get this texture there just like that now take that layer and I'm going to distorted. And wanted to say distort. And -- to corners down. That's sequences there. Britney's cars down. Today -- shape like this. They start to become kind of like a volcano out there like that. Click okay there that happens. There are investing and don't go ahead. Had to give it another filter I would go in and give it something like. Watercolor. What color -- in there which is going to then fill those particular -- right now with a whole another texture. And up here it is and click okay. He gave me that which I'm going to think back a little bits and go to fade watercolor the last vote that had to bring it back to some of those nice lines come through. That were on the need to begin with thing to us kind of all of them like this they get these nice of streaks click okay and I got my basic. Texture for marvel volcano which is very clear and clean so with an eraser. Or a layer mask whatever you wanna do. Fact that's doing the -- areas to with a layer mask because that way we can. Fix it if it's not quite right with black and let it go here and that was a nice site."

Little -- that's discuss dripping down through these little areas here and kind of made -- larger in certain areas. And thin and then make it thicker and it -- up over here and then it's going down. And another little. That it's coming down here it. Couple drips. Going down and it's it's. Fill it up like that. System mechanic and thicken then it cools up over here -- got all this nice little lava coming out of the tip of our. Volcano so now Google and there and in my."

And softer so now it starts to look kind hot in there really nice and hot. Well -- a lot of happening through there are so now we need to have the stuff shooting out from the top. Let's go here and you know they're behind the job. The volcano another hold down my command -- for creating new layer behind it does is going to be the the flow from top okay flow from the top. And we can call the phone calls from lava. Right there you go up and out from the folks from the top pick up that red and look switched to brown to a bright yellow. Really bright go. And I'm gonna get my brush. A paintbrush. And get the spattered -- I've -- similar techniques for other things that you did water with this thing ones but what's gonna do here is and make the brush much bigger. In my -- big brush. Like that. -- go to my brush engine. Where I'm going to increase the spacing between these guys. That's so close together. And going to shape dynamics -- of them on pen pressure but and I set -- politicized there. And definite change -- ankle he said not at all. Kind of really spastic looking at doesn't have that look of a pattern anymore have gone to college dynamics -- the -- the foreground and background or -- percent to there. We're blowing through there there it is and I'm going to duplicate that alpha channel. Now episode nine. Way back in the early days explain alpha channels -- get a general idea what I'm doing it these masks that which I will apply effects. What am I doing this why am I going to this point well right here we've got to smoke coming up. And the smoke is why. We got this hot flames down below right. So we need to have that hot flame reflected. And smoke so that's why I created these two channels down here so I'll do not take the second channel. This one here and move it I'm looking at both of them which is right -- Normally you're looking at this was quick math mode which is -- that we would normally see it to say that the -- that the Bluetooth so let's go there and said that it. Two red. And that's where you normally see enough -- when you have multiple channels on I think this woman back here and I moved to a little move it up a little bit. And over a little bit. A little bit and over. Connect. So. They are they should be totally different. Thing this one. And that he had a shift that. Ever -- slight subtle shift this one a little more. Well and moreover so now they're not in the same position to see that on and that we could see little tiny shift back and forth. To add a little more of Iraqi kind of -- which we faded back a little bit to allow the original takes it to come through. As what -- color kind of obliterated the original fibers so by dating back -- watercolor filter. We that the fibers come through again giving us a combination of those two filters those two textures because as a final -- texture of the volcano. Which right now is actually you know one more thing. It's a little dark down there. So. Let's do this that's draw light to the top of the volcano and darken the father edges so you create another layer right on top of it right here. And I'm going to get a black and white and the switch to wife for my for awhile back to my background and that's what radio gradient. -- here like so. Right and there's that I get this black it's good data area of white. Bigger. There we had this white and the put that they -- in screen mode. Or rather multiply modes only the darts are gonna show wave and there and it's been down a bit. And there and -- it with the volcano clip it right there with the volcano. That long ones. That. These two. There you go so now we got that dark tone. Along the bottom of volcano right down there was this top part is nice and light and how -- some more texture to the bottom volcano down there. So that bandwidth a lot of sorting out which it kind of -- the laugh a little bit. But. There's got it's an out. -- That little thing had to deal with this smoke. Keep in mind it's just they were creating clouds and you wanted to have these little homes on the meet the class and dorktones. Same thing you've created duplicate of those clouds in an alpha channel. Duplicated that channel. Shift one slightly up so that you're exposing the area where the two overlap when you do the calculations he can expose that area to an effect. And -- there was some blue and there's a bit whatever is necessary. -- whatever make those cuts include more realistic. So I'll give us from all that remember as a lot of steps there. Take anyone the individual steps changeable little bit -- might solve the problems that the company faced with some particular project. Who you ask them from their best way to learn this stuff is to sit there and play is a full screen of -- the volcano."
