popSiren Bites - DIY Cellphone Antenna

As a current employee for an electronics store, I found Dr. Kiki's DIY antenna idea to be an awesome popSiren bite. Every once in a while we will get people coming into the store asking about external antennae for their cellphones, and every single time I wind up disappointing them with the only option we have to offer (external cellphone antennae run from $200-$400).

This way is much cheaper, and only requires a little bit of time and effort. While I doubt that most people I suggest this to will actually do it, I can at least finally give them another option.

So thank you Dr. Kiki for sharing that little nugget with us. I'm always looking for an excuse to advertise for Rev3 shows. Now I have another one.

I just read Growly's love paean to Dr. Kiki. I feel sorry for Growly and want to help out. The best way to woo a woman who lives the life of the mind is with verse. So let's help Growly out by providing him with some sweet soul poetry!

I just watched episode 9 which is my first and I must say it kept me entertained. I'm a geek at heart and really found the show informative with the kind of stuff you just couldn't find any other place. Glad to see you again Sarah and Jessica (I've missed you guys ever since the screensavers days) and happy to see you all doing what you enjoy. I just wish I could join you guys because I think I'd fit in rather nicely. Thanks for providing us with such a great show and I'm anxious to view the ones I've missed and the upcoming shows.
