Nerd Bird:Laptop Sweater

Neha Tiwari turns the ratty sweater into something useful.
Turns out that Grandpa's old sweater can make one rad laptop case. Here's how:
Materials:
- Yarn Daner
- All-purpose thread
- Scissor
- A couple of safety pins
- Marking chalk
Directions:
- Place laptop on surface of the sweater – not in the center, but off center - so the top area of the sweater is longer (we want the top of the sweater to fold over and attach to a button on the bottom of the sweater – think envelope.)
- Trace out the shape of the laptop using the marking chalk
- Cut out the pattern
- Begin sowing the perimeter, removing rough edges.
- Mark the sides using the marking chalk, and turn the fabric inside out
- Sow the sides in (marked areas) and cut off excess fabric, turn it back inside out.
- Sew buttons on pockets created by the folded in collar. & viola!
