May 1st, 2008 - Effect: Bet your friend that you can drink 2 pints of beer before he can drink two shots of his favorite liquor.

April 10th, 2008 - For this effect we've dressed up a straight-up old school bar scam. Here's the simple presentation for the classic "you do as I do" effect: Bet a friend he can't copy everything you do.

I think ustream automatically saves the files so people who weren't watching live could watch it later.

I think it would be cool to do a "live show"... just let us know the day and time with a couple weeks notice and that way you can also plug it on the show...

Would be pretty cool. It could just be a hang... show some scams.... answer questions about the scams and questions about you... like a one one chat with your fans. Would be pretty awesome.

Exactly. The odds are still hugely in your favor, even if you go first, but you can only guarantee a win by going second or ringing in an extra token.

Nim can be played as totally legit, usually by pouring a mountain of matches token on to the table (the total number unknown to both players... supposedly). There's some interesting variations that actually use different values of playing cards, too.

The odds are hugely in your favor if the other guy doesn't have a Ph.D. in Math. I noticed right away your were picking up the mod 4 inverse. I didn't figure on the cheat.

I remember seeing this demonstrated on one of those after-school kids shows a couple of years back, but with soda.

But hey, it just means that this is a classic trick to play on unsuspecting victims. >:-)

I agree with Jeff Anderson. But who I saw, from the minute he walked on stage in St Louis at the live Diggnation:

Chris Wylde, from The Chris Wylde show. Which I doubt anyone remembers from Comedy Central. He was also the guy in Coyote Ugly who screams with Johnny Knoxville.

Signed. Three minutes a week is a total ripoff.

Though I wouldn't complain if they did the show daily like the first week.

I don't get how you feel ripped off when its free.

I wouldn't mind slightly longer eps, but not too long. Maybe in the 5-8min range but I do like that they are simple and to the point. I'd love to see more peoples reactions to some scams, if he scams more than 1 or 2 people that is.

You know, I'd like to see him scam some people that don't work for Revision3. Just other people he meets at the bars

And I disagree on more eps. I just received Brian's book in the mail and he has nearly 60+ scams to pull. Yet, 3 times a week and Brian would have run through his whole book by September.

He's good, but I wouldn't want him to have to scratch the bottom of the barrel for ideas. Longer eps, would be great, but I also feel that he's just doing a "Mini" like Tekzilla and iFanboy.

What about alternating weeks with 2 minis then one long?

Hahaha I like this trick. You can get out of it though, but you pretty much have to be sober. Just move your thumbs sideways along the table really fast and smoothly, the drink should drop with minimal spillage, especially if it's a short glass. I haven't tried it with a pint yet, too hard to place on the thumbs without someone helping me.
