Ben works with local musician Kevin to mod an Ableton APC40 into a guitar. Ben takes apart the midi controller to see what's inside and gets to work moving around the components. After he has the circuitry ready, Ben and Kevin draw out a design for the guitar.

Ben shows the midi controller's circuitry and gets to work desoldering and moving the slide potentiometers to a new PCB.
Ben wires up the potentiometers he moved to a new PCB and tests them before moving on to extending the buttons so they can be placed on the neck of the guitar.
Ben shows how he moved and wired the potentiometers and buttons then gets to work scanning the circuit board into the computer to use for his design. Ben uses a paper pattern to confirm his measurements before cutting the final case.
Ben reviews his progress with the project and describes what's next.

@cwkraft Logan's Run remake more relevant now than in 70's. Good sci-fi takes a concept (kill old people to save money) and explores it.
