Samsung comes up with the high-tech answer to the age-old question - "Is that a ***** in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me"
Samsung Galaxy Note, a 5.3? Phone/Tablet Hybrid.
Samsung decided to pull out the big guns at IFA this morning ... literally. During the company's keynote speech they unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Note, a 5.3-inch monster of a phone, or a tiny tablet depending oh how you decided to look at it.
The new phone/tablet hybrid will be running Android Gingerbread on a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor with a healthy 1GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in memory. And the big surprise came in the form of the fact that it comes with a magnetic stylus. Weren't we doing away with this method of user interface at one point?
I got to hold it for a few minutes, and it actually felt pretty good in the hand despite its enormous size. Will it be a daily drive for a lot of people? That'll probably depend on just how large your pockets are.
