Today Jon rants about the new laws in the United States that prevent consumers from unlocking cellphones. As of January 2013, it is now a crime to unlock a phone without the consent of the wireless carrier. Although most carriers do unlock phones once the contract has been fulfilled, under this new law, they are not required to do so.
A lot of consumers are against this law - find out what's being done to overturn it!

Jon Rettinger, also known as jon4lakers on YouTube, is known to be rather opinionated - especially when it comes to technology. Rettinger's Rants is an unscripted series that showcases ideas, opinions, and rants straight from Jon's mind onto the camera.
