Jon Q is back to attack and highlight another epic mobile application. This week, JQ checks out Airphones - a simplistic one-function app that allows you to stream your desktop's audio to your iDevice via WiFi. A niche app and function for sure.. but does it work? How well does it work? Find out in this episode of WTA!
What is Airphones? Airphones is a simple app with the sole purpose of streaming audio from your desktop to your iOS device over WiFi. Just download and install the desktop client, open up the app on your device, pair them up, and your ready to go!
Better built and more popular desktop to iDevice audio streaming solutions have been made available. However, they were recently taken out of the app store with little to no explanation. Perhaps this has something to do with iOS 6? I guess we'll have to see.
What's The Apps is a in-depth application review experience hosted by Jon Quach (aka. WaffleJon) - known on YouTube and the internet for his upbeat personality. Tune into TechnoBuffalo's What The Apps to find out what's hot and to learn how you can improve your mobile experience one app at a time.
