This week, JQ checks out Voxer - a rather unique mobile communication app and service that specializes in (but is not limited to) voice communication in the style of the Walkie Talkie.
Turn your smartphone into a Walkie Talkie, use it for sending traditional text and photo messages and more!
Everyday, it seems like there's another new social media or communicational platform floating around on the interwebs. How does Voxer compare?
What is Voxer? Voxer is itself a mobile communication platform and service. However, it stands apart as being a service which emphasizes but isn't limited to voice communication in the style of walkie talkies. Voxer can also send traditional text based messages as well as pictures!
The app is awesome. The service is great! But.. there were a few things that could be better.
What's The Apps is an in-depth application review experience hosted by Jon Quach (aka. WaffleJon) - known on YouTube and the internet for his upbeat personality. Tune into TechnoBuffalo's What The Apps to find out what's hot and to learn how you can improve your mobile experience one app at a time.
