David down in Sydney writes, "Creepy or otherwise, Dropbox holds onto deleted files. I often use this feature as a "poor developer's versioning system". It has saved my bacon a couple of times." Apparently David has yet to permanently delete files from Dropbox! Dropbox says "Please be careful! You will never be able to recover a permanently deleted file (which may not be a bad thing if we're talking about fruitcake)."
