" Wireless power while as far as the prices aren't it's a really good place to start and it's been showing up all over the place power that we first saw the technology demo last year portable that I yes I remembered that prototype of an -- basically -- by doing its its magnetic induction iPods blackberries iphones cameras. But it on a ball on -- show and engine roared to stuff all your gadgets into ritual are close enough and then don't have to think about it again what do things that you double technology does that we haven't seen anywhere else is they've got some really serious amounts of power that they can cover. Like 5200 plus 2000 watts to 22000. Watts they're ultra. Hi -- power tool basically flat and up against the wall and you're good to go -- title. The confusion about the Internet -- people telling people like us working with a couple technology and they're having visions of like you know. You circular saws running without actually have to be plugged interviews -- tank that's Michigan doesn't recharging your batteries but you're gonna be doing it without having it. Plug it would be -- room covering the docking station. When he actually had an interesting idea these look like regular batteries video these are not today there there are part of their right eco friendly series. And the whole idea is that it. -- that we have to be cycle batteries although we want everybody recycle matter yeah they're gonna do is actually matters to throw away without polluting the."

" I'm feeling bad about it yeah exactly where things you know when you throw out like all those batteries like every single week like we do in my house are just going into the Atlanta affiliate for a -- and I would admit I didn't mean I didn't mean that I don't run batteries like that and recycle them and is safe -- receptacle and then you know taken away. That's what we do appreciate it does look small isn't smaller than any. Regular state batteries and and not like a little. --"

" At a desert demand for an even smaller than truly batteries would give up. Why did -- battery and that's one of the first examples of an AC coming in little tiny flashlights or actually -- with the headsets. And little tiny gaming devices and there's also has a rechargeable solar charger. This may not be practical but they're really fun they've basically hope to double layer AAA batteries it's gonna be twenty hours. To recharge pair of double -- batteries nine hours to recharge -- pair of AAA batteries and also has a built in the the flashlights. And HUSB ports tap right and there this might not be so -- become. Now we governor of fog bank so it makes it -- yeah -- solar charging kind of difficult but it's fun. We actually we're gonna go -- Morris and other -- by different approach they're using -- lithium ion battery inside of here. Let -- Adobe do a lot of USB adaptor for cellphones. Right there did you can't -- to -- USB adapter. Eight hour charge of the -- USB -- of W battery life -- the full solar boat they see the -- for hours of sunshine we'll give you five minutes of talk time on your cell -- So V need that extra five minutes of some -- if period that desert you'll be able to call to have someone help -- Iowa. -- personal fuel cells and it's really kind of wild idea. Medicine technology. This is not -- hydrogen fuel cell is FDA approved and the idea is that this the USB adaptive other power adapters that one but. This is -- AM recyclable happy to -- back to them when you're done went. They have like eighteen months shelf life he basically plug it in the -- got the green strip. Click it shut told -- snapshot that releases the chemicals yet bases its located -- me on the plane chemicals. It's a well that's what I like to hear activated just there's nothing and I got an out of this. We get certain right now -- had just. Again pull the strap squeezed it and talk about more than it charges on your spark plug and actually this is really cool. One more personal fuel cell system. This is the tiger attack my house if it it will power your house and it doesn't make coffee bit -- the blood and it's useless to me. Well actually could power your coffee maker potentially because data is right rather than having -- highly compressed liquid hydrogen out of here they basically having. Use the hydrogen it was solid. And it's a pretty slick concept I think he did this on an airplane. I don't know and I didn't. I think to ask to be perfectly accurate isn't funny look because this puppy on an airplane like lot of credit my laptop what he -- cartridges is thirty bucks. The 270 watt hours and basically. Means it's you you slighted him here. Your course of water in here. You've closed lit and when you turn it -- very gently. Well believe that open for now is the very early version. I'm not commit grisly little believe that but basically it's been. Well it's interesting trip when it's when you turn it off it's not generating hydrogen but actually it's a 120 volt converter at twelve volt power supply or five volt power supply. Thirty bucks for the card is the Dracula parts last forever so if you're in Florida you know late -- Literally forever that's the saying they they don't they don't run out of juice sitting on the shelf like batteries do so -- interesting idea if you're -- country through native country -- wants an emergency power. They also something that's really kind of wild. These are actually metallic -- where they've. Use the mantle with their solid hydrogen technology so you pop one of those into this little devices as the highest price of fuel cell technology he packed. And basically. It's -- place. You'd turn it on it'll actually charge your devices about fifty dollars retail the cartridges are five to ten dollars and they're working they hope to have a divisive place we can recharge these cartridges. At home or have them recharge very cheaply to carry -- a -- cartridges and be able to return to devices in depth. And give a personal favorite -- on a moment. You know. I'm actually trying to get stoked about the wireless power supplies but the other thing is -- it really that you're having my own little personal yourself. I don't know why why you would like that I probably something you would like. He advised -- to go there -- they won't affect one of our sponsors are both at virgin America album and bring the show audio. -- be a frustrating experience traffic -- long lines unpleasant. -- before you actually get on the plane."

" Don't more virgin America is all about making experience of flying on exhilarating and relaxing and -- on concedes. Very nice it's intellectually look forward to it not -- in flight amenities like flight movies music TV CC chat games. But -- 2009. Y I I. And crying in our entire. Believe everything at your fingertips including the ability to order food sit back relax hit a button and tail off the comes to you had this happy I think cocktail well that's because and so where you -- to drink -- I can't quite. And you know what you can do that -- virgin America do. Twitter FaceBook YouTube and one of your level web 2.0 lives out what airline experience it on an exciting news favorite book your next flight. At virgin America dot com."

" Absolutely and now one of the big stories here at the F 2009 with -- attack. It was a huge trend that we've been seeing you have smart product -- want to share with us we actually -- go -- easy to attack instead of we're gonna go -- our local. Even so much so they wanted to go through you what happened we've been very carefully read homer."

" Brought up until about we had to pile the ball up on this one and it's confuse me up monster cable right now to be normally think -- green and company. And this is -- green power. Products at -- products this is these are about fifty boxes the 130 dollar surge protector and what's interesting. Is what they're doing here is there's a device that controls rest of your devices so your computer or -- HTTP. When the power's being drawn off this blog powers available to the rest of plugs okay. Win -- continued speed of power grab the day it's not gonna cut that off well actually put it over here like routers they want it. Let's these one like your speakers -- printing your monitor -- weirdly ray player your history your Xbox Sony turn the HTTP off its gonna power these down. -- view you turn the computer off your business and buy stuff -- out of -- These are gonna actually throttled down -- the ideas that you save energy and basically. You look up parasitic loss on power supplies and devices that enemies we -- right kill cycles of this actually. -- shuts down it'll take care of all of these devices money."

" You know I'm noticing conversation with Robert -- today about a very similar topic and he said that because so many products now are using energy star they've got that very very low rating -- in terms of what -- face up while they're off. I was a really nice way -- saying and what."

" So it -- Riverside plaza was wall actually consume more plottage when parents right by both that you want to plan that."

" Idiots but so I've seen a lot of surge protectors and things of that nature at the show and he says they may not be -- to necessary just depends on what product you have plugged in there but a lot of TV is now are actually a lot more energy. Kind of conservative I guess then -- you would think there are."

" I like that box. So heart feels -- technology be -- to be -- behind your back and forth doing green tech. Somehow these all of that move around are excellent arguments technology talk about balance I'm about one yeah. This device right here is the high level of 66 portable multimedia player. It's going to be available like you do -- turn Xbox and it's basically this is a mock up by the way I'm hearing during any -- ought to be right here. Nine inch screen and it actually does this could be a screen in the front is having a picture if you -- a beautiful movie -- LEE -- and -- And it has the ability to you dock your you iPod or play dvds thank you basically have. Your backseat entertainment portable and people know about going to be touch sensitive can control it or in our favorite let's call -- back buttons right here. It's now like it giant yes he only it's gonna actually do something useful in a bitter about what is being there for -- dollars available in the you can actually one more thing actually have a mobile side snowboard. Little tiny protectors yeah he's got all the times this one's actually running about 40500 dollars and ships later this year 2009. Deputy kids read or write for it. It goes from 600 inches they're basically saying like normally and that it."

" Looks like it just ran out of battery power on us yeah. Look for about two hours of battery life on this one but an interesting idea. Had a few hours are over what you want some brightly outside slightly you know the -- here -- six -- it's very clear easy to read. But this in the quantity. -- focused lens. And it -- the room was dark and if you're gonna dark room when their plane hitting 100 screen and that's incredible it's pretty incredibly if you by authorities resolution I."

" No idea that I was sucking market for these Pico projectors and every single vendor it seems has someone on has one of those things on the market -- I I they're planning for the future making prototypes -- they built into the cell phones and Mac kind of thing it's really I just didn't know so many people are rejecting stuff."

" I'm trying to figure out if it's the market work or it's easy for everybody knows that's the most amazing thing ever I want one -- don't give actually buys one yeah there's all of like. One will leopard three people's like I would watch movies on the plane. Like everything it can't -- protect them -- up."

" Audiences and we'll be easier than two of that -- it lets -- know what -- Channel and then people recline and cross your laptop that's always fun."

" No it's not at all -- we do one more product we know we come back -- in the second. As he gives the right little bag Gizmodo dot com it. It's a cellphone -- this is this really weird product going to do this show. And don't he's going to be able to see this behind there's a little tiny green body and there. That's actually live plants what -- tell that -- case that does he live plant food. And it basically it little tiny portable tour area and it's it's part of the whole Japanese freeze for having little things I honorable thing tiny adorable thing to have off yourself -- in this case it's basically it's a one planter area. And it won't live until the plant eat all the food in the picks up."

" And then dives -- topic of -- Or you can like crack I think I forgot what I lot faster than it would take snapping back its its management -- Twitter. So this tank this what's gonna be twenty dollars and actually using real life dramatically steel plant and all the cousins. -- I will fantastical with got to thank another one of our sponsors today which is down a special thanks to Dell for supporting our live coverage out here at CS 2009. I don't announce a bunch of great things is here on the that there will be making available to you over the next -- to -- average ended down lounge dot com to learn more about the latest thing that Dell is going to you innovate and inspired. And now we've got. Off man Tim latter back coming on the show me some of the weirdest stuff that he has found on the show floor this year I don't this is --"

" Okay this isn't -- game yes this is a mind that you might want me wonder why we're adding an extra thing. Yeah and it's so great let me tell you how this works best. Probably talents and new product discussion about eighty bucks this fall about and basically what you do is you control. Turned on here and you're such a when he crazy and the guys this angrily about this again control this. And we turn it on over here. -- And what happens is you use your mind. To control -- ball to go through this who you are kidding -- so this thing is reading my brain waves some people that may not have any brain waves this thing apparently can detect them. There's a sensor here and look at -- like whose comment you're."

" You know I had -- of those things last year and I a couple of years ago out CDC I would I wouldn't have believed you talk concentrating really hard to what's the next line up here."

" Steve now I got my stuff concentrating on my mind goes blank. I can distract you because down -- now -- the idea. You go up in a."

" A."

" Okay."

" Remember this is wind making this thing go up are you doing some I don't know three trying to get into the who does that feel -- I was still ironing but."

" And observe what happens -- go up like the -- goes up goes up and then spread false witness whose right."

" And anyway it's really comes up before and actually got a little ball and go through the -- look I'm turning out of women go through the group you're making me concentrate now. I'll try it again you're -- go to are gonna thank -- constantly comes."

" That didn't relax your brain like one of those some images that popped out of of one of those what do those things called. Magic guy yeah I you have to animate your brain to the magic I --"

" Does this thing works with library. I'm going to -- and it's pretty interesting and one of the things as promises every time I tried to do voice recognition software on television. The problem has voice recognition works pretty well -- TV because it's stressful environment that's -- inner voice gets all stressed and get good stepping there was no brainer and I don't stressed out. Dominance and public now. So that's -- I want to show you love this weird little bag check this out this to the -- Dungeon eagerly I don't want you know which I don't want to -- really -- and yes. Busy fighting him now yes a little bit okay so this is the bank account to figure out. Best thing what you do as you put this here they actually. So his his mouth moves. It is bright lights program. Yeah I."

" Home and sleep baby brother had. Often that it. That's I can't. I got that helps you do -- your finger up. I actually O next do -- Apple -- your demo it okay what's so cool about it so this is the finger poking box and done. What you did this used to yeah. And in you. Poker we weren't much bigger seven."

" About being my -- so what happens is when he's usually entirely out of the the -- here so here so you see your finger you can actually change games here you can add stuff here you can like hey -- excited siren."

" Yeah being out a -- around -- big guy or go. You're shown no one's gonna actually see you first."

" Seagate doesn't know where it's up like picking people's noses and legs pushing bugs were single guys and doing stuff that's really it's strangely oddly."

" Glad to -- your all of this later because suddenly you're in my slender little fingers just can't register on the box he's not. -- and and this has really bizarre not entirely sure what it pointed -- but it's hilarious and -- hours -- sirens of --"

" And indictment this is really fun to this is a little check. I don't think the -- the check but exactly creepy -- this."

" It started like a weird tech segment and Jim just as it that's it I don't please --"

" It it serves -- the wings moved. Over and over."

" Many -- you guys play on able to. This is -- yeah. I -- half after. You what does the."

" You're and Eva and you're you're home you're just went. --"

" I can let you now. So remember you talk about your skeleton demagogic and a going to kill that's because -- opera that's refreshing it's now aren't. So this is a cute little civic groups from Sega actually the truth. What are known to this is you know it California we have these all laws -- but that's -- yourself absolutely other parts of the gets a great law we're gonna put that off the test here. I avenue had this -- hands breed. Hands free cell phone that's very against her look I do I plug it into -- flown. But I guess this American talk of my phone like that's like they'll drive it right it's so what are."

" critic thought -- get pulled over wouldn't. I you're gonna go to jail and six maybe market that has a crazy woman it'll say your so crazy -- opinions Ellison -- institution."

" Probably belong there. This is from a company called -- and it's they've got a whole bunch of these but. The gold with a brand new here. That's very nice so yeah I actually think it's you know what also is really nice about this we're testing out."

" Good actual instruction that sounds really did you have -- does that -- like -- don't sound of the mikes are great so we got like secretary thing that about it on your shoulders you aren't that -- probably over if you buy bottled of those on the back now I want -- actually have -- tell -- to show the -- about it."

" Up from time being. Which says solid you know it's a wonderful life Internet enabled device interactive entertaining is soft and squishy. I do love them very much these have been out for awhile but they've got a new prototype actually. Other built on clinics and Adobe flash so you can do all sorts of cool stuff in this on this like over 1200. I think different widgets it I'll get on your -- now this what is this receive. Now this money is actually they're prototype digital picture frame. And -- this is going to be sent out OEMs of that people can use air interface to make their very own digital picture frames and they're not just passive I mean he really interactive. Interact with these. On this -- can't touch because just prototype but normally I'd be able to going and get my Flickr photos in my photo bucket photos. See my RSS feeds all that different stuff that you would normally do. On the original some big time you don't."

" Cool about this look at this is the cool thing about what I you know."

" It is the students got circuit board on the back it got so here's their look at it I'm looking at about say wow this really -- USB ports on the side to them you can plug in your own pictures that way you have money USB scandals what is you have -- giving -- other trade secrets. Not are they gonna get -- it let's put this back to this -- is that 200 dollars and this is the the regular unit that it got available now. And the out OEM versions of prototypes going to be available in 2000 not."

" So you know what's cool about this is you know tech really does belong in every room in your house like there's office attack him living -- attack and heart attack -- this -- bedroom -- Absent I have another piece about them yeah yes I want to show you. I this I got this is the amount. Let's just say comical he's the bedroom attack that I've seen you this is up for you ex -- out there -- you like these Alex this is that you know what. You go to sleep at night you get scared you want to night light night light -- boring you know at the low end. It'll lava lamp nightlife that's also an iPod doctrine here. And at the clock radio it's got speakers but let's look back -- well I don't know why something in me says --"

" I think an outline why not knowing about it but that's what about an atomic therapist yes again. I'm taking copious notes to get into the -- these sound by the way it's the sound master the sound maps yes I thought to be like I belong to something like that. I don't know I hit my trip iTrip I had shed. All the others -- it's."

" It's obviously like head we have at a time -- as if that works about credit -- to last products and Oracle does not actually it would have."

" USB device. Duracell Lexus topical things where you want to see their results are what get the smallest USB. Mobile USB adapter for your colors like that -- ever seen -- you can stop it. In the dashboards forget about it. So that would actually charge up my phone right yes you -- I'll just be able and that's what -- the paper like the T-Mobile fifty dollar exactly rather than buying 840 dollar cable from. Apple you can plug into regular cable at that point and actually it doesn't they have is. We've seen a lot of cell phone charges about a couple doubly -- energizer nobody's actually done one that actually has an iPod. People do it that's actually as it dock connector a lot of it he can throw the little orange box in there they've got a cable inside of there to double a batteries and you're good to go to recharge."

" I don't know I didn't like and five different ways to charge my iPhone and now all right you always end up here on my person in my own instead crap which for -- years. But it's very well let's that's it does work as I was now."

" I was right I forgot to bring them."

" I think we're cheating a roundup of how Saddam I've charges that carry around with you at our expense. Racing down here I've done. The limit again at the well there are and that also backs that worked really well works that goes on next week show fantastic yeah well I think that's going up."

" We're out of C yes we actually have an entire show we shot -- yes we're actually is -- the week after. After that we took his next week's show is a whole what's that we could bring to the -- showed you we've got Robert -- duties TV reviews there's an amazing that so. So I -- Egan has all of the good phone stuff. The VAR Burton -- bar and our hands him a little guy he's gotta eat my heart being for early televisions. Really has seriously enough."

" Seriously yeah that's just the both becoming gadget. Talking about their least favorite things that they sought this -- just get pretty bitter that weapons of bitter bitter man that's healthy. I got Italian but we also want to thank god Maxwell for helping us out any -- today that was very often of course NBC universal. I -- check out their website at NBC you act CES dot com or all of them on Twitter at NBC you. Yes."

" What do particularly Banc one of the folks attacked a bunch people help without actually hear it adds. At the Booth here we want to thank John arena who got us -- BC universal has been taking care of -- and it gets out of trouble there's a big round of -- I am not doing your right. You know what thank everybody about the want to everybody on -- products and please. Check the show inexplicable format -- going to be jam packed all the products a better Norton. I'm Veronica Belmont that a lot of -- I. Thank you."

" And you."

" War. This that's senate techno -- is brought to you by virgin American Airlines this is how you mind and -- a domino."

" up today's show we've got some well ecologically sound. Products Indian personal hydrogen fuel cell that's sounds frightening at this -- frightening that it is frightening is -- accidentally this was summoned here to.

Yeah I."

Hmmm... that guy in the background who kept reappearing was a tad distracting. Still, a good show with interesting gadgets.

By far my favourite Tekzilla in months! Keep up the good work. Patrick and Veronica make the best team for a tech show but Jim would make a great (re)addition to the show. Maybe let him do a gadget-of-the-week segment? That'd rock!

I must be weird. I was busy paying attention to Pat and Veronica and Jim...so much so that I never noticed any of these background people y'all have been talking about in any of the CES show comments. I'll have to go back and see what I missed.
