Cleaning Up Your Digitized Vinyl LP Recordings

Jeff wrote asking how to clean up the digitized recordings he's been making of his old vinyl LPs. Veronica has an affinity for Audacity to clean up audio files using its Noise Reduction tool. Other options include DART Pro MT and BIAS SoundSoap 2. Patrick recommends reading up on PCWord's "Rip Your Records" article, as well as investing in a phono preamp to equalize the sound in hardware as you digitize, rather than software.
