Hey... it's Tekzilla's 5th Anniversary! How good is phone service from Straight Talk? We've got inside info from current users! Where can I find the pictures from Veronica's wedding? External GPUs: you'll need a $300 enclosure and Thunderbolt! Moving Gigabytes of files? We can help you do it for nothing! And more!
We'll help you find useful maps for iOS 6! Plus How to wall mount your HDTV, external GPUs for laptop gaming, Veronica wedding news and more!

Yeah! Wooooh! Yipeee! ...ok, back to work people. Seriously, if you haven't seen it check out the very first Tekzilla. Thanks for sticking it out with us!
Apple Maps is a little disappointing at the moment and it doesn't look like Google Maps is coming anytime soon. Here are a few GPS navigation alternatives available now. Look into Waze, MotionX GPS Drive, Garmin StreetPilot, and TomTom....but some of those are going to cost you a pretty penny.
Brian wants to transfer large files between two computers over the internet. The only problem is that one computer has a pretty spotty connection. Some of our suggestions: Dropbox, Google Drive, Box.net, Crashplan, or even uTorrent.
We're doing a multi-part look at HDTV wall mounts. Today we discuss finding the right wall mount for your needs. We're going with the new Sanus VLF320, but many of the mounts on Monoprice and Amazon are perfectly fine. Remember to get a product that has a weight rating well over what you actually need...just in case.
Dr. Ray Soniera did a great side-by-side comparison on the iPhone 4, iPhone 5, and Galaxy S3 displays. If you really want to get your technical display info on, be sure to check out the link.
Peanut has high hopes for external GPUs using the Thunderbolt port on his laptop. But do they offer any real performance boosts? Quick answer: yes! Not quite the same as running an the graphics card in a full PCI 16x lane slot...but way better than the integrated graphics. Take a look at the Sonnet and OWC GPU enclosures that are available now. But boy oh boy are they expensive. You might be better off building a decent gaming rig for close to the same cost.
Robert asked if any of you had experience with Straight Talk and many of you responded with glowing reviews. Thanks for writing in!
