The audio and the video aren't in sync when you're playing Flash video? If you're talking some weird home made video on YouTube... it's probably the video. But professionally produced stuff, say on Hulu or Revision3? You might have a problem with your machine. We'll tell you what to do in the video!
Budget Gaming Laptop Pick
Ben's on the hunt for a 'budget' gaming laptop. He's got $1200 to spend, which sounds like a lot, until you see how many $2000 and $3000 gaming laptops are out there! Alienware's M11x... a netbook sized gaming machine should come in under $1000, deliver 30fps gaming on graphically intensive games... and still give you 6 hours of battery life when you're just browsing the web. But, Ben, if you're playing World of Warcraft just about any $600 notebook will take care of your gaming needs!

AVG Free is too good to use anyway...HAHA
On Ubuntu your Tekzilla video is flashing in Chrome and Firefox when playing in full screen and looks like that you use "tooltip" or "alt" text on video.
Here i catch the problem...

Correction to what Patrick said about GPUs not being able to offload Flash rendering. If you have an nVidia GPU and you get the latest Flash 10.1 and nVidia drivers, Flash does get offloaded.

Actually Patrick said that Flash is finally getting hardware acceleration, and that "right now" it ignores the GPU. You are correct though the flash 10.1 beta does the trick, but I would guess that it being a beta doesn't quite count until it hits full release. I also don't know about any non-Nvidia usage.
and oh yeah, "that horse is naked!"

Gaming Laptops
Hey Patrick, VeronicaI think Dell has some great gaming "capable" laptops in the guy's price range. The Studio and Studio XPS line start under $1k.
My Studio XPS 16 can play Crysis on 1280x720, pretty smoothly, so WoW should be a no brainer.

Veronica said that her MacBookPro has 'integrated graphics' but that is wrong. It should have an ATI x1600 (like mine from work) or an Nvidia 8600M GT or better. Older MacBook's did have the integrated graphics GPU's which sucked for gaming.
I'm lucky to have a MacBookPro from work that I can use at LAN parties instead of dragging my desktop all over the place. So far I have not found a game that I could not get to work on it, granted I do play a lot of the HL2/Valve engined games (TF2, CS:S, HL2DM, L4D, L4D2, etc...)

Budget Gaming Laptop
Hey Patrick and Veronica,A couple weeks ago I picked up this ASUS G60 at best buy:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+Laptop+with+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B2+Duo+Processor+-+Blue/Black/9556072.p?id=1218124204092&skuId=9556072
900 bucks gets you a core 2 duo P7450, 4GB of memory (albeit DDR2), etc.. but the punchline: an nvidia geforce gtx 260M graphics card. This thing screams. And if you're worried about reliability, check out this laptop reliability survey on engadget:
http://www.engadget.com/2009/11/17/laptop-reliability-survey-asus-and-toshiba-win-hp-fails/
So far I love this thing. Haven't tried Crysis yet, but L4D2 runs in the laptop's native 1366x768 with all settings maxed, plus 4x anti aliasing and 8x anisotropic flawlessly.
You guys may want to modify your notions about budget gaming laptops :D
