Dying Hard Drive

Dying hard drive? Step one is to get your data off before it dies!

Then you can decide whether to salvage it with a tool like SpinRite, or replace it with a new drive.

Do yourself a favor: back up your data -before- your drive crashes!

Did the hardware fail? Then you've got a serious check to sign to a data recovery company, or a lot of work to do... one of the only folks talking about DIY recovery from HD hardware failure is Scott Moulton. It's not an easy thing to do even with his knowledge behind ya!
