Samsung's affordable ES6500 46" Samsung HDTV... is it better than Panasonic's ST50? Mac or Windows for video editing? 27" touchscreen makes Windows 8 awesome. What were Google's biggest search trends this year? Plus we show off HP's Elitebook 2570p and talk enterprise laptops.
Plus 2012's best Blu-rays for showing off your home theater. Google Zeitgeist... what were the big trends in search this year? Lenovo IdeaCenter A720 All In One PC. Alan says Tim Ferriss is nuts, and that you need at least three knives in the kitchen, not just a cleaver!

Google has released Zeitgeist 2012: analysis of the biggest search terms made by the entire world over the past year. Check out the data to get a glimpse into the queries of the human population.
The Lenovo A720 is kind of amazing; sure, it's like an iMac or other all-in-ones...but has a touchscreen and sweet folding base. Our model has a 27" flatpanel with a Core i5 3210M. See the segment for this nice and shiny PC.
Robert had a chance to take a look at an LED ES6500-Series HDTV. The results? Good factory set color, great deinterlacing, and fine-tuned picture controls. See the episode for his full review.
We take a look at our favorite blu-rays from the past year. We talk titles like the Avengers, Finding Nemo, and Real Steel. But there are so many more! See our rundown of what we liked and why, as well as viewer responses for the best of 2012.
It always seems to come down to this: Mac vs PC. But what about video editing? In the past, Final Cut Pro was all the rage and required a Mac (or at least a Hackintosh). But the game has changed with the release of FCPX and CS6 of the Adobe Suite. Our advice: go with a PC. You'll have better expandability in the future and will most likely save money with a better system.
HP released a new Elitebook and it seem a little...dated. Why would this thick laptop with a VGA port be pimped out? One word: enterprise. Watch the segment to see why some seemingly older tech won't go away.
A knife-wielding viewer wrote in to comment on the advice of Tim Ferriss to use a cleaver for all your cooking. He instead suggests to have three knives: a chef's knife, boning knife, and paring knife. Thanks for the suggestion! If you have any other cooking advice (especially if you have a recipe for some good Indian food), email us!
