I don't believe Patrick made much of a point about only putting spacers where the mounting holes are on the MB.
I saw a college student kill 2 MBs because they put in an extra spacer/standoff. It was when they were going for number three that I asked them to remove the second MB and try it on the bench. That was when I noticed they had installed an extra standoff below the RAM sockets. At the time I was doing duty as a lab assistant and wasn't expecting to need to watch over them so closely since it was for upper level Bachelor Degree students.
I guess it can also be said that we all can make mistakes. I'm mean how many CPUs did Patrick kill, maim, or destroy on TV?

I liked the case that they used in the "Build a PC From Scratch" segment, does anyone know the model or manufacturer? I am always on the lookout for a simple yet functional case.

I think Neha should come to my place and build my PC, now that she know knows how. Just Kidding.
No I'm not.
Well, I think she should Co-Host the show. I think she has better stage presence than Jess. Sorry Jess. Good segment, keep it up guys.

Something Patrick said about TruCrypt was a little incorrect. The purpose of the list of drive letters is actually to choose which letter you want to mount the image to.
Hak5 did a segment on TruCrypt that's a lot more in-depth if anyone wanted more info.

I don't think she got her hands dirty when Pat Norton is telling her what to do. Not all of us have Pat Norton when building our first PC.

"i didn't know i was a, " dork " , instead of a " nerd " if i put my own computer together.
neha, can call me whatever she wants."
Actually, I believe the term that should be used is "geek"
and I'd agree with #2. Neha needs more air time. IMO, she does really well when it is something she is actually interested in, like the building a PC. And I definitely think I enjoy her more than Jessica. Though, I don't think Jessica has gotten her hands dirty with anything other than the hosting parts and her website of the week (a.k.a. Code Pink ... err, Red)

I have to say, the flash drive segment was really disappointing. I really expected something elaborate, and all we got was "buy a nice flash drive, and throw it into an otterbox". C'mon Pat! Throw on the kilt and get a little more hardcore than that!
Hell, I even got my mother (who's not all that tech savvy) watching the podcast, and even she made a comment that she learned more from watching TSS. They try to cover so much in such a short amount of time, and its killing the show.

The building a PC section was ok. Great that Neha is getting in there, though got she looses geek points for having Pat help her. Sorry, but on my first PC build I was completely by myself.

I remember when I first dissected my first PC... I have been upgrading ever since...
Recently I forgot to unplug my enclosure from the power source and I plugged in the harddrive... Sparks me... Then I realized what I had done...
I lost a harddrive... a reformatted one with no important data but it still hurt...
