Windows 8 Podatcher!

CJ "was waiting for a Revision 3 application for the Surface Tablet. I just wanted a simple app that was easy to use and allowed me to watch Tekzilla on my desktop or tablet." Then he realized there "are no free and easy-to-use apps for quickly viewing video podcasts for the Surface. So he built one! It's called Gobble, and you can find it in the Windows Store on Windows 8, too!

Instant Dry Loop!

Finally last week we covered a question about plugging in your Ooma VoIP service into your home phone line so all your phones connected to phone jack would have access to ooma. The problem was the viewer had DSL... which runs over those same phone lines. Does he need a dry loop from the phone company? Nope, @HomeNet and Al wrote in with excellent DIY alternatives. We've got 'em in the video.
