Just in time for Apple's next iPhone announcement, Amazon dropped the news on its latest ebook, the Kindle Paperwhite, and tablets, the Kindle Fire HD in 8.9 and 7 inch versions... guess which one Veronica has already pre-ordered! (And, yes, you can opt out of the ads for $15, says TechCrunch!)
Brian in Portland has a small home server, needs more storage, and wants to know, "would my money be better spent on a standalone NAS box for storing all my data and then letting the server handle things like transcoding, or would it be better to get a server board that can handle a large number of HDDs and letting the server act as a large-volume storage solution, too?"
