Can the $35 Raspberry Pi cut it as a Desktop PC? Rooting your Android Smart Phone is easier than you think... and it might be the only way to upgrade the OS. We love Puppy Linux! $50 speakers worth owning? Screw Bluetooth, we've got a WiFi mouse!
Plus Lepai 20W Class T Amp. Props to Steve Guttenberg for the heads-up on the B652 speakers and Sharp's GX-M10: a big, colorful, 100 Watt portable audio system.

Patrick has tried the Raspberry Pi challenge--where he completely replaced his desktop computer with the $35 PC--but the results weren't great. See his take on the experience and some awesome Raspberry Pi projects that hackers have been working on.
Patrick found a great amp and cheap set of speakers that create the perfect audiophile starter kit. Check out the Lepai amp and the Dayton audio B562 speakers.
Samsung just held an event in New York announcing many of the price points of products they showed off at CES. Things like the 85 inch UHD S9, insane Giga sound systems, and F8500 plasma TV.
Stephen has wants to know how to root his Verizon Galaxy S3. We give him all the resources necessary...but mainly the XDA forums are the place to go. Also take a look at Holo Backup to backup your non-rooted devices before diving in.
We take a look at the Sharp GX-M10 boombox. This portable monster takes 10 D batteries and fits all sorts of Apple devices (including the iPad!). It sounds pretty decent...but are the days of holding a boombox above your head outside of your lover's window over? Maybe that's for you to decide.
Last week we had a question about dongle-less mouses for connecting to sleek laptops. A few of you suggested taking a look at the HP WiFi Mobile mouse. This thing works as you expect a wireless mouse to work. The only downside is you need to install extra software that is Windows-only at the moment.
