We're back from CES 2013 and we've got tons of stuff to tell you about, from headphones to backpacks and even, dare we say it...the Steambox?
Did we find the new Steambox? Google Zeitgeist Resolutions. Xi3 X7A modular computer. New Headphones From Sennheiser, Beyerdynamics, Marley USA. Fiio Headphone Amps. New X3 24 bit 192k audiophile portable player. Why are NAS boxes so expensive? CES Plague and Lenovo Ideacenter gets 2560x1440 upgrade!

Gamers know that Steam makes it stupid easy to get the games you want on your PC over the Internet. There are rumors of a Steambox, aka a gaming PC from Steam, so we were curious about Xi3's Piston, one of Xi3's X7A modular computer "optimized for gameplay on Steam." Watch the video to see if Xi3 would admit if Piston was the new Steambox!
We got to listen to some phenominal headphones at CES, including Sennheiser's Momentum, IE 800 earbuds and the (legendary $25K,000) Orpheus, Beyerdynamic's CUSTOM ONE PRO and T90, along with headphones from Marley. Oh... we got to check out Fiio's Portable Music Player X3, flagship headphone amp, the Mont Blanc E12 and got info on their E18 Kunlun Android DAC. Wondering if we'd rather have Sennheiser's $25,000 Orpheus headphone system or something like the $350 Momentum? Watch the video!
We're well into January, but that doesn't mean it's too late to make a resolution for the New Year! This week's "Website We Just Can't Get Enough of!" Google's Zeitgeist Resolutions page can help! You can enter in your resolution, post your zipcode, and then say what category it fits into. Then, when you're done, you can see resolutions mapped in from all over the world!
There's something like 12,000 products at CES... nobody can cover 'em all, but here's a few more picks from the show floor. LaCrosse Technology added a new Remote Water Detector to its lineup of wireless Alert Wireless Remote Monitoring Devices. HiVi's HiVI's M200 MKIII are the ultimate computer speakers, and check out Pelican's ProGear Vault for the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3 and the Pelican ProGear Sport S130 and U160 hardback camera backpacks!
Inuyashu wrote in, "When looking at Network Attached Storage devices, it is not uncommon to see a $500 unit with no drives included. For much less money (about $400), I was able to build a mini ITX system with 2 3TB drives." He's wondering why NAS boxes cost so more than that even -before- you buy drives to put inside of 'em. We explain in the video!
Stan's Windows box bluescreened, and when he rebooted, the normal Windows Recovery screen troubleshooting failed. Wondering what he did next? Watch the video to find out!
