Apple ID Phone resets suspended. Amazon no longer adding new credit card accounts by phone. 3-2-1...the perfect formula for backing up! And Mars Curiosity: sharing science or littering? (Relax, we love that Rover!)
Mars Curiosity: Sharing Science or Littering? (Relax, we love the rover!) 3-2-1... the perfect formula for backing up! Forget DD-WRT, Go Gargoyle. Random.org's Password Generator. Apple ID Phone Resets Suspended. Amazon No Longer Adding New CC Accounts By Phone. Veronica's NASA Crush. Carbon Copy Cloner: The Free Ride Is Over. OS X or Windows... it's easy to back up.

Bobak Ferdowsi has a mohawk and helps land rovers on Mars. Need we say more?
The Curiosity Rover's head is up and taking Navcam images. This means much higher quality photos! Check out PCWorld's Complete Guide to Tagging Along for more rover goodness.
We mentioned last episode that Mat Honan's entire digital life was wiped out all because hackers wanted his twitter account. We have new details on the attack and how Apple and Amazon are changing their policies because of it. Make sure to read up on Arstechnica's article on auditing your cloud identity.
When you're coming up with a backup plan, think 3-2-1. Make sure to have at least three copies of your files: one as the original, one on an external drive, and one in an off-site location. Use Time Machine if you are on a Mac and check out SyncBack for Windows (recommended by Gina Tripani).
Our favorite Mac backup software, Carbon Copy Cloner, is no longer free. The new Mountain Lion compatible software will set you back $30, but it's darn good software that has saved some of the Tekzilla crew a few times.
Random.org has lots of... well...random, tools to use. The password generator is a great tool for creating unique passwords without extra tools like Lastpass.
Want to greatly secure your email account? Set up two factor authentication! It's easy to setup on Gmail and Yahoo, and makes it much harder for hackers to access your account. Just hook up your phone and get started!
David wants to upgrade the firmware on his WRT54G router, but doesn't want to mess with configuring DD-WRT. What can he do? Roger suggests installing Gargoyle to get some of the DD-WRT goodness without pulling your hair out at the end of the day.
Richard wants to know wants a user-friendly file syncing software. Our favorite? Microsoft SyncToy. It's simple, easy, and powerful. What else can you ask for?
