Thinking about a new laptop? Loyd Case shows off four Ultrabooks! What's going on with the theft of 12 million iPhone and iPad UDIDs? Is Apple's iPhone 5 coming September 12th? Nokia's new 820 and 920 Windows Phone 8 smartphones, and more!
Plus we're covering your DIY Home Automation: Mi Casa Verde Vera, Autelis Jandy Pool Control, and making an Insteon Central Controller work in a house with lots of computers!

Well, not unless you absolutely have to. Nokia just unveiled the new 820 and 920 Windows Phone 8 smartphones this morning. Wireless charging, new cameras, and shiny displays! On top of that, Apple confirmed that the iPhone 5 will be announced on September 12th.
The hacking group called AntiSec released 1 million UDIDs and claims to have another 11 million that they stole from the FBI. They also claim to have personal info like addresses, cell phone numbers, and usernames. The FBI says "it wasn't from us." Here's a tutorial on how to find your own UDID.
Zac from DTOID wants to get an HDMI switcher for the massive gaming capture station he has set up in the office. Robert goes through a couple of his personal favorites and explains some of the nifty features like automatic input switching that the Kinivo has. But you can find good switches for under $30 at Monoprice.
Is it worth it to grab triple play Blu-ray discs when the regular version is usually cheaper? It depends, but if you want to save yourself the effort of making DVDs to work with older devices (like in-car systems), then go for it!
Terry's wife suffered a serious migraine attack after watching a HDTV but has never had a problem with SDTVs in the past. Robert is guessing that the HDTV was an LCD which can flicker when the brightness is turned down. He suggests shutting down all of the picture processing and maybe trying a plasma display. Loyd Case is back with a look at some of the latest and greatest ultrabooks. He shows off the Samsung Series 9, Dell XPS 14, Asus Zenbook UX31A, and the Lenovo X1 Carbon Fiber. Plus, watch the clip for tips on buying a new high-end gaming laptop.
Last week we asked if viewers had their own homes automated. We got some great responses..and you guys have awesome setups. Steve has the MiCasaVerde Vera 3 and Brian uses the Philips Pronto 9400 to control his CMA11 X10 interface.
Craig wants to give us a heads up that Microsoft bought the original the GreenButton site and "ruined the site and lost the majority of their green button members." The new place to go is http://www.thegreenbutton.tv/forums/.
