Social Engineering with Dirty Underwear

Guest host Martin Sargent fills in for Glenn McElhose and joins Barrett Lyon and David Prager to discuss the Apple versus Samsung trial, cable cutting, Pussy Riot, virtual sex machines and more.

Glenn was STILL on vacation during our shoot time for this episode, although we hope you enjoyed him in episode 33 from NYC with Revision3 Ad Sales director, Ryan Daume.

Filling in for Glenn this week is former TechTV host and Revision3 host Martin Sargent. The big Apple v Samsung trial was just sent to the jury when we taped this episode and our hosts discuss who they hope wins the case and why. Barrett also discusses how he has finally decided to cut the cord on cable TV. Cord cutting is a phenomenon that has been going on for several years now, and this episode includes a fresh new take on the latest reasons why to do it or not. The discussion then turns to the Russian band "Pussy Riot" and their political dissidence. From there, it is only natural that we'd reminisce of Martin Sargent's old Revision3 show, Web Drifter, and his episode about virtual sex machines in Amish country. Last but not least in this episode, Barrett tells the tale of social engineering customs in foreign countries with fake dirty underwear.
