Tom's Top 5: Top 5 Most Likely CES Vaporware
Tuesday, January 18th, 2011 running time 04:43
Of all the products we saw at CES 2011, these are the most likely not to be available by CES 2012.
The Consumer Electronics Show took place at the beginning of January, and as always it was filled with hot new product announcements.
One complaint about CES is that you never see anything truly new. Another complaint is that much of the cool stuff you do see, never comes out.
So I thought now that some time is passed and the breathless hype has subsided, let's take a look at all those hot new products and make some predictions about what might happen with them.
Using my nine years of CES experience and a keen nose for vapor, I've picked the top 5 best products that are least likely to be available for you to by in time for the next CES.
Have an idea for a Top 5, tell it to us in the forums or send me a reply on twitter to acedtect.
