I watched Kung Fu Hustle this week. I'm usually pretty forgiving of movies but I must not have "got it". I didnt really like it at all and I usually love martial arts films.

I actually liked CJ7, a lot. My wife was even crying after his father "died". Plus, the hot teacher was a bonus.

It's cool that you talked about Scott Pilgrim. In Fairbanks Alaska, Scott Pilgrim has a huge following. I don't follow it too much but I read the first book and loved it but just idnd't bother reading my friend's subsequent books. O'Malley has noticed the wave of fans from Fairbanks and he is weirded out by it. My friend also has many conversations with O'Malley since it's ;pretty easy to contact him and talk and my friend emailed him before it was popular so they have gotten pretty close.

Loved the Garbage Pail Kids reference. I always remember trying to find your own name on a card.
One odd Garbage Pail coincidence with those later card sets, my real name is Jeff Standley, and I remember getting one of the later sets where the two cards were named Junky Jeffery and the second card with the same picture was Sticky Stanley. How awesome is that? :D

EDIT: I actually just googled the cards and it was Junky Jeff and Stinky Stan, close but I swore it was sticky stanley. Still cool though, haha.

I have never had any problems with people talking, being annoying or using their cell phones in movie theaters. Although, I usually go after the movie has been out a while so the theater is pretty empty which is really nice.
