Also the all that and much much more too much -- and yeah NFL as a producer who was his."

" All so big news if you haven't heard already would you must have we are doing a live just south by southwest yes march 17 and seed Patrick says Newton."

" Nice we'll have more details at the bottoms of the show how do we talk about."

" I'm gonna say maybe one of the most anticipated movies of Jeff's life that's true."

" This weekend movies we -- talking about one at a time magazine's greatest graphic novels of all time -- one of Tennessee's -- novels right. That's not rats yeah yes and dad didn't. -- you need to be. By Zack -- is -- energy and 300 million last year before they don't want and -- commercial director arm but this isn't movie. -- basically got another pretty -- ease as being in the works for a very long time Terry Gilliam is going to tackle a one point and Paul Greengrass is going to happen at one point many different dresses screenplays -- occurred. And it finally happened there was loss is -- a lot of -- anticipating it. -- We saw X yes arm that you've probably seen it since. Good seeing it. Generally seen posters sort through. It's stars no bankable stars but many. Character actors and and articles Patrick Wilson has been some good independent films -- incurred mom. And I Jack Arlene was -- little children and Patrick will send out."

" Different kind of work. It was a really now yeah he's never done anything I was trying to think of the last and a cat an Academy Award nominated actor. Played a superhero after the right now -- Jack Nicholson. And -- has that in. Wait a minute so good so you -- her box and it what is life and about half. Well it's it's about Saddam out. The idea was superheroes might really be like if they really exist in the real world Saddam and don't think it's more yet the deconstruction basically what happened was about the time that superhero comic books came out in the -- in our world. In this world those things inspired people to put on costumes and go out and fight crime also and in doing so. It Astaro whole era -- vigilante is on which was -- outlawed and now we're kind of coming into the story after super here's an outline and there actually is was a person. -- real super powers to. And done that kind of changed the whole geopolitical landscape and made. Mix and stay on for actually terms and she changed the outcome of Vietnam War all kinds of crazy stuff right now want to hear what you thought about the -- and -- Internet download. Mirroring the rain here the first of the the first comic book segment we ever get on the show you how that comment cannot I actually shows that comment to start to come book segment because is that my favorite comic of all time yeah. Not an. Unusual -- choice well not an unusual opinion not well okay I had. So this entertaining to me hello Alice would you think Washington's interest angle double duty which means that --"

" IAA. I think I hate love to hit a little. I think it. -- Jordan there was not much drama than in my opinion I mean I I was smiling from -- here almost the entire time. I was surprised that Powell. True to the book they were enable them to be coming almost like. Made sense that Zack Snyder of all people would direct this movie because he he can. Utilize so much of this sort of technology when he does to build the world's that it allowed him to basically build the world that we saw frame by frame in the in the book. So yeah I -- I was great I mean it was a little bit out of you know some some giggles on how they -- document and his character on -- all. But that time that we can't honestly correctness of the character mom you know once again -- all of that worn out I didn't mean anything really need. I will get a little controversial. And saying. I would suggest not reading the book first because I think this. Movie. Unlike. A novel where you read the novel and there's so much more in the novel that doesn't make it into the movie. All lots of them the movie is almost scene by scene by scene what -- Happens in the graphic novels so for me I kind of was like. I was stating no that that's it was -- I was sitting know that this guy was and I mean there was a there was a lot of joy of like wow that's what he scene that is the frame. Whoa what is you know any. But I felt like I might have it might have been better for me dad read the book later in my opening up -- holy crap that's the thing that I saw in my mind. I have to say. -- Yeah it's true that it prison thank. -- I was saying was like I can leave out stunt doesn't it I'll I loved it."

" Jeffrey dean cannot masters Fernando -- that I. Yeah."

" I am completely I'm very curious what you think -- I'm completely incapable. Of looking at this phone objectively yeah. And I honestly honestly don't know if the majority of the people legacy and going to like it. I can't. Recommended. To people because I don't know that yet. But have you ever seen a movie. Or read a book or hurt us a song and said yourself this was made just from me can you just for me. That's the experience I had watching watching and it and and you know it's honestly it's that's a lot like experience I had when I watched fellowship of the ring the first time. I went holy crap. Somebody made what was what's in here -- have my letters and and they did it the way I wouldn't. In my wildest dreams -- wish you could be done it's almost unfair. How -- this might be the most faithful adaptation of anything ever that's why I was saying it might be better not to me to believe there are things that are so that our. That have no business being in -- mainstream films like other nannies is. -- yeah. Yeah that's in this movie. That I mean that is like a no brainer for a director did some change Russell of the bat and that's faithful. Be it eats -- me this movie is proof. That we want. We as geeks have officially inherited the earth. We won and and we won the fact that -- gave a hundred million dollars to have this thing made it. A three hour long faithful adaptation of one of the most -- comic book properties and it is completely uncompromising. It's uncompromising in its level of violence in its content in its in its tackling of of the subject matter that's in this. In this comic it. It is off putting him in the same way that the comic is off putting. And it's glorious for all those things you know what the little difference is that the movie brings us also. Had me amazed and that the spec -- killer elegant opening credits sequence which yet so beautifully conveys the fact that we are now in an alternate. Alternate history and shows these moments of history -- The young famous kiss with they young and the sailor -- yeah yeah yeah how we we see that almost happened and then doesn't happen. The as a recruiter film -- all those things Zack Snyder came up with him to convey its U. We're just a little bit off kilter from where we were yeah so and it can't. I actually. Got kind of misty just did not to go me yes just. It's just because. Dub the power of the imagery and the and the elegance of how. Chris believe we are brought into this world yet like it's so perfectly conveys Canada."

" Stick -- are gonna go ahead -- an innocent nobody would only really good photographs really good look at the most yeah absolutely zero and it's about and then. Okay and I will say one thing now the -- my one concern. And it's the same concern I had after I walked out of forces for the ring the first time and I went. Less people. Are going to now feel the need to have to read the book just like what you yet. -- and and I think that's a shame and there's a part of me and we'll talk a lot maybe a little bit about that Alan Alan Morse take on stuff so let's not so there's definitely a whole part of my -- Geek -- miss that. Thinks it's a shame that it. For a lot of people it will meet that comedy -- you will need -- management at what's in their head now yeah I can't not think about proto without thinking about life away."

" I am just think what you arm won't let me first -- that it isn't and you think he -- I'm thinking aren't as many players he's been doesn't do well. He's doing well but might not do as well as we all think as as well as the Internet makes it scene and really not terribly it was well look I residents me and my. He heard is that if he does it. Do you. It'll do okay -- proper shark's gonna promise but it doesn't do look amazing. My fear is that we won't get another error I can see from the filmmakers unpleasant -- we may not get another. For that in I don't know that's my theory is that -- doesn't do awesome. Might not have Obama there's now enough with like -- dark night and that you. I'm just think we -- are yeah don't say that it's on Vista sixty million it's first weekend that's not that's not signing him to work you know that's right well. But this was our winters what did you -- removing immigrants in the you know hey I don't think I can say I loved and hated -- that are I don't think he's an -- I can say this I thought the fight sequences. Were awesome. Totally awesome I thought. And -- senator what are really cool tunnel and I'm really see he took it all very serious and the comic book. Is all primary colors the comic book that is a direct translation of the comic. Could have been Dick Tracy Tracy Canton but that feeling -- the -- isn't that and that tones are all -- in -- saturated and gritty and real production design is. Awesome. On this so many great noticing any details that make things feel great com. And no one of the great things about the comic book in the death. Stuff. In the brain and -- center brought to the movie not. And he didn't just let things from the comments he did there was a moment where I think it's I think -- is speaking and then two towers. Yeah talents into the towers and towers is this a little about them there yes on. The two entirely in -- What's life by the Senate is like going towards an economic and what you could really mean that just want that -- could mean a lot about what this film is about."

" Comment on our quick chart this one one of the things up. That leads me tonight it's a shame people read the book miss a -- a lot of those things that we're in no end in Dave -- is frames. Are in the movie we whether they stick out much more then likes the likes the stuff that you only -- In the movie it's like you can't it cannot be obvious."

" Right -- just a little at a machine and I felt you know here's my thing and I will say that I mean I'm ready to conduct a few times so I I too found it impossible to I was not. -- getting a story. I was. Seeing how it was executed it -- so records is really tough to. -- That this story about the movie but I will say that I really did you feel all blank. On it. So it's certainly why is. Some things weren't directly. I don't know that I don't think that Alan Moore would be happy with this film I sort of you know -- continental -- and -- I felt like. Now I don't it is no I don't think -- I don't think Zack Snyder directly political team dialogue and France all that stuff. Wouldn't need the meager crowd I think and ended in disaster had thought about and the writers and everyone. Thought about that what the themes and the idea is that Washington tries to articulate. And said I'm gonna make a movie about that stuff. That -- done right not help the movie was lacking salt and had all of the stuff. Game and people saying the same words but it did not have to death and it and it's on the things that were removed. Certainly they've they've gotten there's no black greater storage really typing using better get it from you in reading the comic book how sneeze and look all that stuff out brought that that was not usually adults and isn't documentary evidently believe. I on the -- seemed to me on nothing but I really felt there was something missing in the movie there was a lot of heart and I wasn't getting and I missing all of the film net. When that was sin city was -- where did the group the great thing asses off and comments that upcoming -- frame. Is -- a representation. That that frame it represents a many moments -- one moment and the dialogue represents. Our conversation just in one and Anaconda so well written. Put people in her room below the blocking the way people are standing in a room and saying those words and we felt very forced and and the superhero outfits and the and the superhero or action moments into comic book telling commentary and the movie felt like. Parity borer glorification. As opposed you irony."

" The let me disagree with you on the heart issue simply because I think safer one. The performances in this film and do that for me big green that. There was a uniform -- in line -- and it was on these Jupiter I remember that mean that yeah -- something Molly Ackerman and they're pushing plays the mom apology that yet how to win. Not. And so sadly I felt like she did not live up to the rest of the Caspian but what a -- What's. What's his -- to apprehend. An incredibly -- let Danny Haley was named Jackie Jackie Earle Haley. And I'm butchering them. What rorschach rock what doctor Manhattan brought to those characters and their we have Patrick Wilson and even that the -- That's a lot easier I think to accomplish that -- because he is not an easy time but -- it's already had appeared to that you sympathetic with with rorschach I would like well he's dead yet he said. You're not yeah I want to -- nearly as usual didn't. I was like yeah numbers emissions shattered my spine and they say about rorschach I don't understand why. Kristen bell sounds ridiculously bad points and -- I think it's and it is entitled to -- pleasure did it. I think I'll let me he was amazing in this movie I also want to Santa it's gonna come up again we talk about TV is is so difficult. To."

" Played when he -- and -- is still lack of personality that ended ended and what Billy Carter doesn't document patent is."

" I think so. Difficult and so well done because it's almost like he -- days being sad that."

" That he has no emotion without showing any emotion yet he can't wait wait yeah it's clearly an empty vessel yet as this is. I loved I loved him and I think gives it since it's accessible it's along in his long -- launch site you're gonna say it -- long but I'm glad doesn't. Real long it's it is wrong and I mean like there's I don't know could could your parents see this movie like it I don't know I don't know my dad could definitely is a lot."

" I'm guessing my mom I think there's a lot missing in this movie I think I think even that hasn't been about the beginning -- you don't -- ever get a sense that as a -- a superhero like it's very keen. Act is mentioned but there's no explanation that I severe as -- now -- a lot that's a sort of like. We thank you spend time -- scenes and characters that is very odd if you're an important history being thrown into the an antenna coming off. And you want to not making the movie this -- we're not telling a story that's what has not -- Another Alan Morse bright points and I am I doing in this movie I really do that. That there there's something that it that this story was better told went -- that many -- you know and then doing they couldn't -- I don't you -- exact same what he's -- you can -- that's the one that's."

" The reason it was called on vulnerable because -- that both the entire idea of the comics is about being gay com it's like it is what can I do with."

" Frame by frame that story telling the and."

" And all those things where. You know things are are mere images of each other you you losing the movie but if you do changes things like I'm so curious of what you thought -- Paul Greengrass version of this would be Powell as he wouldn't he was going to modernize and all that all mean terrible so that I mean who premieres and Spanish guys is this story."

" Excellent that's that. Christopher Nolan did not directly translate dialogue and words onto his screen he did yeah I almost -- he's not taking at least that is our energy wrote his own right I mean I don't think he -- it -- But I. I think that that does justice to them that men story well there's also the character's outrageous too much yeah is HII. I understand us better as its grip I think piece of art to convert to a defiant. It -- it any other great movie that's adapted from a -- I think in the history -- and let -- me -- I think compared history reminds -- to the comment. They didn't paying just do that thing because they they're not working and that medium -- we're working you mean what the media on the bull ring in Astoria and don't -- damned if you do you're damned yeah down. Does -- know I don't -- I think we're -- thing I don't know. I don't know about -- what I think it's I don't know I think it's the best weather possible. But he's the best."

" Possible adaptation of this work that it I could ever hope for I love it. This is."

" Some -- introduce. This week's game move -- of a story content and it's pretty good intelligence. Our area. Yeah boundary and then the room. --"

" When I was in college I lived in house's several guys and this -- I stopped writing my mind game com and Carlyle didn't mean I think I had -- I -- sort of been out of the -- loop a little bit for a couple of years and we had a PlayStation in the house and we went and we wouldn't rented a game. And we brought that game home and it turned out. When we rented it we did not get instruction booklet. I'm game turned out to be Resident Evil two this would put the game in and it was you know bunch of guys hanging out. Want to play game together only one person gets the comptroller of course everybody else -- to experience. What job. We didn't any instructions so we didn't know what the controls were for this game. So we didn't know -- and if you remember Resident Evil two girls school like me and inflating -- member of the controls all want to camera angles are a little want -- there's a lot of screaming and yelling and run this direction I think it's behind yeah. I can't CN. Yeah turning does not so moved and and then there were these great puzzles in the game where people were people who work having the controller and and got -- annual -- just pushed it over the right. So basically it was the co op experience. Before there was taught me. Flash forward to today. Resident Evil five has just come out from cap com. And it is resident Resident Evil game Resident Evil world zombies. But she ruled -- off this time so now we don't have to pass the controller around to each other and and smaller sit next to each other we both. Are two of us at least can play at the same time so this one that at least at the beginning in. In Africa. And do you have you play I'll that was Chris Chris Bell's friends at a desk. To a as a whole history in convoluted cap com style and -- Oh lead on the Capcom -- all the same to me it's very strange but. And anyway he has a new partner in this African adventure and whether you're playing single player or co -- that partner is within the whole time and very much in this game is built around deep partnering experience. There are things is that a -- areas you can reach only if you cooperate together there are. And challenges that happens -- separate you. So. That being said and I played this game with a customer and I know you guys play this game together so I'm going to attempt. The unprecedented. It."

" whole -- premier."

" a guy's -- and timely reviews and analyze. Yeah. A panel of news ahead and we moved the."

" I think that's really cool we mean is we played this is just coming out today as this is released so we played pre release version. And as such we weren't able to go online and play which it has long line call up so we all played it split screen guard and you really just. The -- CDC is sponsoring game it's it is put down a senator or split. This site racing you you know this screen is what exists percent of -- no I think you know why I -- is that like halo two was like them. This game actually usual for your -- full screen the kind of offsets it'll also the aspect ratio hasn't changed yeah your own -- I was what. A great way to do this obviously playing online would much prefer mobile we deny that I just so sad -- boys. I want to see you here."

" Away I."

" saw live in as well that's."

" In the final minute elect a newlywed couple and therefore his prison -- Nelnet."

" Hey hey -- not a I'm assuming you guys know 100 --"

" Don't you know he doesn't work that they would sit next I was saying hey get golfers are off. I think I'm any -- I -- into the review. I me."

" Law does and I play this game remind me of why does he look for was thinking of the year. I love Brazilian back in the day when I was on the games you the right. Patent it and telling that was two years ago I that was released on the me yeah animators and no I don't change -- amazing. Name automating -- report. Red zero."

" I was just. Is awesome. --"

" Thanks Warren helped the dollar I'm waiting for the rest are amazing unfortunately because we didn't play tiny screens many expressed the whole game. Hanging all I haven't hello I was really bombed by. I had a very hard just tend to notice there was an engine or rent per funny that we had that -- last week because there were times where it felt render and it cuts and did I thought it was announced that it's an engine and actually he's always been rendered the exact feel like a word so yeah. Amazing arm. Need to install our cells specific to this. -- five right and it's so different at first so. Hard to get used to but once you do it was like I love how that's in the big criticism is that this game has been quote."

" Stuck in the past. Where you can't you -- doesn't play like his third person shooter he shouldn't."

" It shouldn't yeah and that's how I feel an issue well let's explain what that is a quick that you can't you can't move and shoot right there's -- thing and it yeah you're gonna shoot the evidence you have you clear ran out and didn't prevents you from moving and for me. It's a freaking zombie and we have left for dead now we have that we have -- its call of duty but zombies are attacking. But what Resident Evil gives us is the old way of stuff is happening you're trying desperately need -- do you -- staying attacking. Hope I get it. Turn and wrong route and it now ads is amazing element which is actually very left for dead which is. You also have to be aware of what your partner is doing and how they -- because there are certain times where you are the only thing that concerned about the can -- that. So I would I loved it controls it and like Dan when I first started out like boy. Because for me meaning you know me I mean they're -- wild thing is is if there's cover and I see people doing cover I -- IndyCar and."

" This government category toward the end right kind of becomes the eighth when becomes more shooting university shooting -- shooting yet but it actually -- it was a horrible."

" It's a very effective -- have but yet -- so I ended up calling controls where I really towards the end there --"

" It's nice to us like you know no hands or muscle memory and it's I think it's Dan is good -- Completely and has been tension and it adds to the tonight you -- it. I think we're -- in this game had something really cool to the shooter Brandon whatever we need pistol shot. -- It is not always shocked at how a whole lot I didn't know how they sold this game's music Australia I was I don't think. But I really didn't expect to be sold caught me and I. Really recommend people like I didn't."

" A hundred -- I actually would say I recommend that you get somebody to sit next to you why you play -- because there I was. It was cool I had there are a couple of moments that I know Dan was more scared because of what I screamed yeah."

" Because what -- Perrier. And -- I can agree with you guys more on the ice I feel like there has been an overwhelming. Odd the backlash about this yeah demo came out any --"

" All hated it."

" And it was all based on the controls and I feel like if people played this game now beginning the full game yet. Within a couple hours you will be hooked him it is. Actually why this franchise is special. And the way they go full tilt in the co op -- of this. Is so -- there's only ball parks where. You know I don't know because how how quite as governor that there's parts where cage drops over one person and a person and you can still -- stuff between each other through the bars."

" Why would we -- stuff."

" We want to pass I don't guys are Generale and opening that box there are a bunch of boss battles where one person has to restrain the boss mechanic obviously is not really knows that Dallas and I was not and it."

" That's another by another name I was sniper right won't wait until she's -- a shooter and a check."

" I work and then I'll look into restraint and yeah well. It's. That you another good sucked -- where you have to -- but when you -- you have to pushed the -- and yeah so intensely and then you're putting money we do you know you wouldn't we -- exhausted playing this game like. I didn't even realize how intense I was the second I got one of phenomenal experience -- you know. Let me say something going to end -- and didn't like bomb the story."

" By now when it."

" But goal and it I mean I could say this could be potentially in the air and the story is Carol yeah I don't bite. I hate. Also know what else what denying that -- like about this game well there are few technical liberal votes. One that we couldn't type you can't."

" See stacks of weapons in game and you -- and for me and and you usually instant as you said it's -- when they're used to be spots where you can do stuff with your -- yeah that's one thing that's a big change -- this -- from any any other previous Resident -- games is. You know backtracked like an all those records so much back checking in the Resident Evil and -- just -- is constantly news now also yeah but I think what they forgot to put in news you need to be able to -- we had taken the new shotgun and there was no way until we got to an organized screen where I could see between -- synergies between California best. Which is is this thing better than the one I'm holding it and if there's no way for me to tell what I ever try to use it. -- I mean I I have this I think I'm just I'm just assume that it's later in the game in the media that are right and it's never the case all."

" I -- my weapon there weren't any weapons were always better your operating in an elf queen of the."

" Now what might let some of them yeah and it went well yeah let me say why this game right now I mean there's games as we need basking in his nine many into -- tomorrow. And I'll explain why they Zumaya. I -- counselor client like. Being hit a mesmerizing job I was all we always had just enough and -- to survive and what not enough to be an area. I think this great -- thought I felt pumped up and power all when they wanted me to feel that way. And desperate and hopeful and tense when they -- meetings on the way but it was always enough to complete the level that I."

" he's leading brand and it anybody really know what drops all the time into the -- and a thousand algorithm. So -- it drops."

" Right now I think yeah you're right I -- I -- that there is I'm told I'm going to run as."

" I would did you always have only you were running -- and handle conflict well that's that's one of the Resident Evil thing in my. Are your -- also well -- want to ask an important weapon that that is why is it that we all in separate network like totally but we didn't -- experiences."

" That's -- design and."

" He's really -- really great he was a great."

" Game it was just a great game yeah beginning and an interesting -- H -- now it didn't seem Renner better than anything. I actually is more like it it is in other African theme but it it feels more like an Indiana Jones. "

" I am sure that I love the African team. And you know some great King Kong and I'll let you know dilemma where you on the boat and pull up and you find an army again. We didn't mean. Yeah never return any good to very exited never told you ask size five there was -- changing point it and was like -- who's like every move every game passat the cave -- yeah in NASDAQ with a right -- you know I was very disappointed that it -- recent ended should be human turns him thinking about what. --"

" Present a five man oh yeah."

" All right everybody we are back. Finally talking about television and popular demand I -- covenant a man and me whining allies these. We're gonna talk about two new show is big shows lied to me. Which is -- Ross and the lady from."

" Some banged and I can't remember off much of the time I had. And also doll house a new one from just -- to me. A secret is clear. Okay we're not totally lost and battlestar you know people -- forms were totally out -- that -- you want me finale we'll probably -- is -- don't want to talk about these immediate Indonesia has just."

" So lied to me is. Tim Roth plays a professor and -- doctors and studies. Station all."

" Takes a decision well let's Israeli I'll get a lot of additional questions is sort of his call micro expressions as it's it's it's basically the science -- studying people's unconscious responses. To whether they're telling the truth or whether they feel certain emotions towards the subjects that come up."

" That we all do unconsciously in this person is sort of studies -- I just it always talk of."

" But anyway so."

" So it's -- that's -- pretty standard you know a lot like fundamentalist but a little bit more science men. I can't."

" now. So what did you."

" Yeah when he doesn't we've seen three or four offices -- I -- went out my problem I'll like it."

" Our problem is that it's too much like -- show actually like -- kind of guilty pleasure for me resounding integration outlet but. -- this when he's procedural old things and from the very first episode the whole premise was. Lie detectors don't work. And if you like me you what you saw some Mythbusters. You saw that meant was busted because lie detectors actually are very very accurate. And then even in the same episode they were like -- ticket somewhere but we recorded his voice of does that attention stress meter and."

" That's the one cool thing about the show is that they kind of show. Famous picture real life situations and yeah using. That is a little bit. Like what is what was the context of this photo you know it's like when they saw like a famous actors or something she's frowning as an OK well let. War who knows hey you know so. I just don't think charges originally used to met one guy who's like taken and an oath of honesty can. Is this is Michelle for that wears off of it yeah and licensing I was elected but really."

" I really liked it I'm going to like Baghdad -- love I love hate to lose this com. I I had I didn't like this kind of show but I really is having an -- performance makes an awesome I think his daughter. I'm Connor now silent Bob I called back then this his daughter is awesome dagger -- what is coming --"

" Anything less -- I did not even talk that Obama saw absolutely now stands totally not and I'll have to I'll. My view is that fans act and I did not represented in the news -- it's -- the American -- and -- yeah."

" I. I love incorporated the real life Staten bomb. That. The day and I don't like is how procedural this at this show could really get good ended. When it starts to become ran out here I know when it starts to get more into the personal stuff -- people working and they do a little -- how how many episodes again I lost three straight face certain -- you a little -- was a third and one daughter does a lot of is more involved the next one has a lot of stuff actually built this kind of show for me is all the cases of the week the monster of the -- yeah our social professional. You understand that because they only had so much screen time to notice that by now and then that overbearing dad and just it was circus scene. Jordan and that's kind of set that should be you know it -- one world can't I."

" the real flaw in the show is that. Indeed the they have this somehow created as weird chicks for them yeah it's like they're working backwards we're going to result to try to create the night."

" I really look is it really was on -- I don't like about the show instead they can they mean so much better Whitman -- means the -- the -- audience and right to participate and see -- caught the look there are. You're only going like the -- the last episode it was there was a very big yes are from the wire exclude them really know about it is that -- I really do enjoy his day out I really -- your kind of show it isn't my kind of show."

" 100% 100%. My biggest kids my only one concern is that sometimes they make a facial expressions not unconscious well anybody."

" Its blessing that -- yeah path where the whole premise that shows these people see things another in the dog however with really good day player actors they have been able to pull off for the latest from the wireless like I can solve and then when he's in and out like a while okay cool awesome so check out as an excellent. So I really -- EG if you're procedures should check it out jobs we can."

" The man behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer firefly. Doctor horrible -- on the line."

" Other things you know and Johansson stores and in the world class chairperson toy story -- Christmas story."

" Okay to a site. Has come out with this in his new very anticipated. New fox. -- dramatic one hour series as called doll house in the premises and this is what its stars Eliza disco and the girl who play."

" Some manner and actor who's. An Angel love her mother. As well as others."

" Play. Basically this shows is a group of people have discovered a way to wait all. What personality. Memory emotion from these."

" Dolls."

" And then implant them with the information they need to go out and do certain things. 88% to seeing these missions however is clear that is essentially a high end brothel."

" Yeah but they also will do certain things in situations where rich people need very specific types of people if you. If you're in trouble and no one else can help maybe you can hire this."

" All around us and Canada and and that. So. To all house sat the go ahead Danielle doesn't know it. And Andrea -- after I put a good -- first and then they just mean and I did when you individually are three episodes of the first -- anniversary episodes and we -- looks like is a terrible show. --"

" In fact we're an -- does that represent the Internet and truth. Yeah I can't sell I love it I didn't bother me is my favorite show on the planet firefighters equally my favorite -- of all time. That an act its like coming to show bringing that brought on him that. A patent hello yeah. Currently the economy into a lot of conditioning his character on Buffy and her performance on -- is my least favorite aspect of the entire set and a series seems -- you agree. So machine is the shot in the dark honey and other carriers and as we know about just means up. But he's my least favorite character beyond that you know and the whole probably members planet is about nothing is that. All of that characters. So far none of that and then those characters are getting a good performance. -- handlers during that the united that's done is interest maybe I should play Obama I'll let. I -- itemize all the stories stuff completely try eight. And then it didn't didn't day is is that there's really good war was being sad and there's moments that where guys is they're talking not. You're hardly making anything policy is amazing basically a little -- is Sanders is that why -- that around Miami -- does not Arafat had an -- while I. We'll say that this is not experience uncommon to watching just we didn't show us at the first few episodes of all the shows I've seen I have not liked and you find actors miscast in the bottom and then you start to love the right I had. This show I thought as an apprentice but this show from what I've seen so far. There is so much any -- lends itself to serialized. Storytelling for any idea that anyone can become him. And you want a doll houses and one that we don't know what's going on here and it isn't good things that he's been calling crazies. There's so many. I thought provoking profound Deans let -- so -- told an extension and cholera -- is good news honorary media all messed -- I don't want to show was wearing leg and has not shown me yes. Why I should ever watch it again and no one -- does win and I wouldn't ever not once has my right but I have to say. This thing which gasoline is when you watch more you realize oh. It was it was not hurt really bad but you know and her -- don't know what it is why they Robert Bradway I think."

" Dan the nail on the head for me is that I if this wasn't just lead and I wouldn't of either watch this much -- and I hate if you remember back in the movie segment. A couple of segments -- on I had no mention. How great I thought Billy credible was in playing an empty vessel."

" Right pretty much the opposite feelings I feel."

" Watching -- did you do the same thing and it's. And very difficult thing to do and I and I you know I'm not. Making a judgment on her as a person but it's it's just."

" Not entertaining to see that and I files that that character until and I fall -- tell -- they went ahead."

" That is and then the weird. Creepy computer hacker guy who's always like whenever you like."

" All that screams. I don't believe that any of this it doesn't seem like it happens in the real world they showed to me feels a lot like."

" This weird mashup of old TV shows like bionic woman and Charlie's angels and it has that or did."

" Can't be. Ridiculous -- that I just am not drawn to you in."

" Yeah I think the biggest flaw that I that I found with with the show is to cast in the league I think it's really hard because. Yes Buffy is that title character but she's not me all the she's not the linchpin of this series as much."

" Because there's a lot -- there's the vampire friends there's all -- other stuff built in in that series but there it was -- from the beginning -- com that was different meaningless ornament for -- to anybody I mean it really wasn't -- really became -- I also like -- Sanjaya guy now lights Buffy so that's a look at what list so someone in -- without analyzing."

" Don't Kate and get into I can book by her right as one as a sex pot thread I just don't like that and then and -- I don't buy kerosene an other characters I think. The pilot the major -- I was the first thing she comes in and pretends that. -- while that she supposedly has this information about. I immediately just disregard I was like I don't buy insurance his decision to negotiate and I Sheryl I don't mind here is that for 12 as amendment if that happens."

" whole series falls apart I mean the whole show you that."

" Did you imagine this show with Gary Oldman as the lead. What solo actor who is."

" Gary Coleman ladies and like."

" What spiritual name you would tell you -- I was like this I don't I don't like a real transformative -- actor for me it's trying to do and what the pretender dean successfully. The pretender the guy he didn't even pretend there. It was the same premise every week -- he was smart enough to be able to pretend that he was a doctor or firemen our elections -- every need to be and she was so charismatic. And so competent. In the character that he you always believed that he was that dot --"

" And I'm saying right up against the way I don't matter because I feel that -- of money is that the show is that Tomlin on all this other show is very. Gilbert can't be and this actually doesn't feel campaigning in what if this thing and they're trying to bring camping but not play -- it's sort of it's sort of it's based more reality than all his other shows are yeah. And me. It feels like they haven't found that did Tonya -- was this is the first real just wings' series that is squarely and honestly set in that current universe as it exists. And that's well and then there's this crazy second I don't know what I -- EarthLink and that's it. A different enemy -- that different universal us yeah so anyway I'm I'm -- want to warm because I can't just I'm not much more yeah. I'm not seeing was I don't want to but I do what I'm gonna."

" All right well before we get where you know we do want to thank our sponsors such great sponsors as square space and -- you've heard us talk. -- enormously. Dog house huge huge huge stack that's airing next weirdness talking about Arizona my ratings would go up yeah. Also the all that and much much more too much -- and yeah NFL as a producer who was his."

About -- and we love the squares they haven't -- dot com check it out great web hosting and the best windy windy wet web creation that and here I've ever seen. " And if you're going to design a website at square space chances are -- new domain distressed place to get that godaddy.com. They have cheap and easy to use. She -- easiest software."

" Plans they give you the don't dot net dot org."

" And Netflix is online brand team we are easy to -- on the list that we watch Stan. Overnight need -- entitled mostly literary titles I'm sure you guys in 300 in Blu-ray spectacular style I recommend they don't -- maintenance accident in -- forty's are becoming this all want to let you know horror movies in little else is just released on Blu-ray and I'm sure they don't have and they will get it soon is the the motion -- the -- motion comments -- Nothing is just coming out yeah I had. -- look like frightened to tell the black crater that's around the ring that's somethings are. For reasons senators so he didn't even put on her -- basically the next day players aren't as well as for hanging nine but yeah it's -- free trial -- at www. Netflix.com slash TRS standing in Indonesia finally realize that exact center. Did Frank Miller and Alan Moore and the kings of the graphic novel how would you not say yeah. Well yeah I mean on -- basically -- her daughter turns and watchman came out. Within a couple of years and each other and and he didn't vote -- gotten into any news you are doing our prayers are asking. And and hit both."

" That's all so we want to say that kind of -- guys who doesn't want to show right."

" Cut my body -- if you like. Video games probably did you watch our show there's -- video game stuff coming to Revision 3 real soon and these guys -- the videogames is really cool show it's called co -- I think -- from Tuesday's Louisiana and if these this is literally the guys who didn't want to show. So you've heard me talk about when viewers and want to show bush has ended. Listen up as the new one of yours and co op is the knew what a show -- this year Revision 3 to tick up yet -- it."

" All right let's get to the key now off hey Dan Alex Jeff and Steve I started getting in Anaheim -- and that's going to let them."

" clearly don't -- it has been."

" Started getting into comic books."

" And graphic novels when I start to watch your show off some Jeff just got happy. My favorites in the watchman and bone."

" But even before watching the show I would love to read the newspaper every Sunday morning but not for the stories before the comic strips I -- Garfield -- Classic peanuts and even though I'm too young to remember when it was in the newspaper Calvin and hobbes so my question is."

" What was or is your favorite comic strip to appeared in the newspaper."

" Thanks Matt beef from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania PS just wanted to thank Jeff for telling us about -- TV show ever my main components as many didn't and --"

Episode 103 - Top That - Watchmen, Resident Evil 5, Dollhouse, Lie to Me

Watch now.

This week in Movies:
Back in episode 9 of TRS, Alex, Dan, and Jeff discussed Watchmen in the show's very first comic book segment. Now, with the unfilmable comic has hit the big screen, and it'll take the entire segment to get it all their reactions out. Behold: Watchmen.

This week in Video Games:
The demo of Resident Evil 5 received a very polarized reception. Now Alex, Dan, and Jeff have played the full game, and have some very strong feelings.

This week in TV:
Joss Wheden, the man behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, and Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog, could seemlingly do wrong. Then came Dollhouse.
Does Tim Roth have what it takes to elevate yet another procedural to the level of must-see tv? The guys check out Lie to Me.

I think my favourite intros are all ones where the guys are dancing (or fighting). Dan was soooo close to cracking up in one shot there.

Love it!

p.s. Large xvid link isn't working

The most intense moment in TRS history? Definitely.
(It's Jeff taking a deep breath before his Watchmen review)

The Watchmen discussion makes the "TRS has gotten boring" thread obsolete. Great segment.

I might not have been paying well enough attention in my European history class, but how is calling Dan a minstrel racist?
