Easy Command Prompt

Monday, February 11th, 2008 – running time 01:06
If you're a Win XP user you know frustrating it can be using the command prompt... especially if you need to type a long string of commands, or worse, a subdirectory.
Well, believe it or not, there is a way to drop in text faster into the windows command prompt. It's called Quick Edit and here's how use it: 1. Open the command prompt by either clicking Start, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt, or by clicking Start, Run then typing in "cmd" and pressing enter. 2. Click on the C: icon in the top left and select Properties. 3. Place a check in Quick Edit Mode and click OK. Now you can copy text from a window, web browser or whatever and paste it into the command line with just a right click.
