Ok, you'll probably never get Vista to work exactly how it ought to, but here's a quick tip that fixes at least one aggravating inconsistency. You know the off button on the "Start Menu"? As I'm sure you've found, it doesn't actually turn your notebook or desktop off. That's just one of many Vista annoyances, but luckily this one's a snap to fix.
