Good episode, only problem is that it was edited a little too much. It seemed like it was rushed quite a bit, and I know it was probably a 10-15min show. Half the fun is watching him "really" get into the wine, 4 min just feels like a rip. Imagine if DiggNation cut all the gab and just showed the story...boring huh? But since it's the 1st show on Rev3 I'm going with a 86+.

LINK IT UP MOTT!

It has to be "In 5 minutes or less", I understand that this is especially what they are going for. Plus they did refer to the episode #455 that was 18 minutes. So they're not hiding the fact it's a condensed version.

I like the energy Gary has, I loved to see him on Internet Superstar and the GigaOM show. I don't drink wine, except at Christmas and Thanksgiving... So I just wouldn't take time of my day to watch 20 minutes shows about wine. But a very short clip... I could stack it in my general knowledge category.

Just found out that FULL episodes are also available on revision3.

Episode 488 - Wine Library TV - Austrian Red Wine Tasting

So the "Reserve" are like Bites, Daily, Lil' and Mini

I thought that too, but the schedule says that Reserve will only be released on Wednesdays (same time as The Digg Reel), and the Wine Library TV episode will only be on Fridays.

Now, I haven't seen the show before, but I thought I heard (and that he said on this episode) that a new Wine Library TV episode comes out every weekday? I don't know the whole deal or anything, but does that mean that only one of five episodes he does per week will be released on Rev3?

Also, I'm wondering: Will there be a feed that downloads both the Reserve and the full episode every week? I mean, it's kind of the same as having the dailies and weeklies of the other shows in one feed.

Guess with all the editing, they won't be able to do all 5 episodes. I agree that the 5 minute episode does look rushed, but at least they also provide full episodes as well. Wonder what they're planning on doing...both episodes (short/long) are different episodes and both of them are old.

My guess is that they will do the short episodes (WLTV Reserves) twice a week (Wed/Fri) and they will do the regular long episodes daily.

I like the new editing and the images of the tastes!

Hmm I already saw the Austrian one on Wednesday...

I wonder if Rev3 is just going to be syndicating older episodes of WLTV...

I really like the fast edit style, it doesn't take away from anything wine wise, and it keeps me more engaged.

I am really psyched! keep it up!

Really not a fan of the editing here. I would agree with the others as it looks rushed. IMO, it's TOO MUCH about wine. A lot of WLTVs audience watches because Gary is such an amazing host and fun to watch. Without all the quirkiness, the show looks really scripted and unexciting.

Will still watch, though.
